What are commercials on tv, past or present, that you love, maybe just because of the music, or because the music fits what's being commercialized? Describe music you love or enjoy in commercials, say what the artist and even what the song is, and what the commercial is, and if it came out recently or from a couple years back and you still remember it.

For me, I love the Jane's Addiction song "Jane Says" in the most recent Jack Daniels commercial. I just think it is a great song. You?

I just recently saw a commercial for JetBlue and they play "Mr. Blue Sky" from ELO. I love that song. I've also heard it on a couple other commercials but I can't think of what they are.

I haven't seen the Jack Daniels commercial yet that you're talking about.

Land Rover used to do a commercial with this really cool song and I have no idea what it's called. It's been at least a year or so since I've seen it, but I would know the song if I heard it. I thought about checking out their site to see if it's on there somewhere. It's an oldies' Motown-ish song if I remember right.

I forget the car, but a few years ago, the company used the song, You Get What You Give, by The New Radicals. Wow, I love that song like crazy.

It's not a famous song, but Pantene is now using this gorgeous background music for the ads for their hair products. I first noticed it in the ad with the pretty woman sitting down, describing how she gets her hair to look so nice and full. The music really grabbed me. After than, I heard the same music in their other ads.

have you seen the new one? i was suprised they added pop to it, but i guess they have to try something different otherwise, it will get old.

i also liked the Britney Spears' Pepsi commercial. i had a life-size stand-up of her holding a Pepsi bottle in my room. yea, i was Britney fanatic. lol.

I like how Chevy used "Start Me Up" by the Stones a few years back. I also liked it when Chevy (or was that Ford?) used "Any Way You Want It" by Journey. My favorite was probably the Dodge Ram that featured "Keep on Truckin'" by Eddie Kendricks. No voice overs or anything, they displayed all the info on the screen and just let the song play. Awesome! :cool:

A commercial I used to love was one for Aussie hair products. All it was was women throwing hairspray and other products around, with sabredance as the background music!
