phoebe7165 10-06-2008, 10:21 PM Drew Carey's brother, Steve, was a cross-dresser in earlier episodes.
phoebe7165 10-06-2008, 10:24 PM Oh yeah, on Wings, for Halloween one year, Brian dressed up as half-man half-woman. His left side was himself, his right side was dressed up as a glamourous woman.
littlebelle 10-07-2008, 01:00 AM Pretty sure there was an episode of Boy Meets World where Sean and Corey dressed up as women.
88survivor 10-07-2008, 08:16 AM There were two episodes or three episodes as to when Scott did wear womens' clothes in the Charles In Charge syndicated episodes. One episode is when Charles is trying to hide the actress in the room and he disguise himself as her in the drab costume(an obvious reference to Lily Tomlin's character on Laugh-In). The second is Where The Auction Is when the kids(presumely Jamie) dress Charles as Carmen Miranda. The third is when both Willie Aames and Scott Baio are dressed as women to see Jamie's teacher(Sally Struthers) for reasons I forgot, but it had to do with her being against the government.
comedyfreak 10-07-2008, 08:55 AM On the Munsters, Herman was changed into a regular man after being hit with a bolt of lighning, then changed into a woman.
Max Bear *Jethro*played his sister during the first season of The Beverly Hillbillies.

Dr. Smith on Lost In Space dressed as a Woman in the 3rd season in the Ice Princess episode.
phoebe7165 10-07-2008, 12:17 PM I know there was at least one episode of The Andy Griffith Show where Barney dressed up in women's clothes. He played a cleaning woman and I think he was trying to teach the bank a lesson because they weren't as secure as they should've been, so he dressed in "disguise".
oz615 10-07-2008, 03:19 PM Pretty sure there was an episode of Boy Meets World where Sean and Corey dressed up as women.
Also IIRC,there was an episode where Eric and Jack was in drag as well.
repeatshistory 10-07-2008, 09:09 PM I can't believe no one has mentioned Barney Miller and the 'mugger patrol' episodes, where almost ALL of the cast dressed in drag at various times. The funniest was probably when Harris refused to shave his mustache for the duty.

Yeah, and I can't believe that nobody, including me, mentioned Max Klinger on M*A*S*H!!
Marvo301 10-07-2008, 11:21 PM In an episode of "The Brady Bunch" Peter dressed up as a Sunflower girl. This of course was in response to Marcia joining the Boy Scouts.

There was the series finale of Gilligan's Island in which all four of the men went in drag.
Dusty's Fan 10-14-2008, 11:24 AM On My Three Sons, Uncle Charley (Wm. Demarest) appeared in drag once. What a sight that was...!
On Laverne & Shirley, Lenny and Squiggy appeared in drag on occasion.
On Dusty's Trail, IIRC Bob Denver and Forrest Tucker went in drag in one episode.
Goldilocks 10-30-2008, 01:45 PM The Monkees featured the guys in drag in several episodes, but the most "stand out" one is where Mike Nesmith plays a bitchy princess and is in full drag. Then he's off to the side as himself, saying "Man! Look at that chick! WHO is that?!!" (Referring to himself in drag.)
Hilarious stuff!
treky 11-01-2008, 01:45 AM of course, there was Klinger on "MASH"-mostly back in those first 3 seasons, when it was a sitcom; before they ruined it and made it "the Alan Alda show".
Chocoholic 11-01-2008, 04:17 PM Klinger definitely is my favorite guy in drag!
ekkostar 11-01-2008, 06:04 PM Myrtle Urkel on Family Matters!

megamanj2004 11-05-2008, 04:20 PM I can't believe no one has mentioned Barney Miller and the 'mugger patrol' episodes, where almost ALL of the cast dressed in drag at various times. The funniest was probably when Harris refused to shave his mustache for the duty.

Another one to add:
Silver Spoons - A S1 episode where Ricky had to pose as Derek's date after Derek saved his life.
What's Happening Now!! - S1 ep. called "Raj on the Run" Raj was being chased by FBI agnets.
LeeBlue 11-05-2008, 11:48 PM "I Love Lucy" when Lucy and her ladies afternoon club formed a band to perform at a charity -- however the ladies were really lousy so Ricky and his fellow musicians dressed up in evening gowns and performed.
Ohio8 11-06-2008, 10:19 PM 3rd Rock Rom the Sun's "I Enjoy Being a Dick" episode, where Dick goes in drag to a meeting of Mary's women's group.
factsoflife 11-06-2008, 11:18 PM What about Chandler 's Dad on Friends he's in drag lol
Well actually to be technical Chandler's dad on Friends was a pre-op transsexual, meaning he believes that he was born in the wrong body and plans to have a sex change operation. To people that identify as a pre-op transsexual there is a big difference between that and simply being someone that cross dresses. Not that it's that important a point, but i thought i'd share.
factsoflife 11-06-2008, 11:19 PM i believe the 1990's CBS sitcom "Public Morals" featured an episode with a male cross-dresser.
and a few episodes of "picket fences" featured a character who had a sex change operation.
ekkostar 11-07-2008, 03:55 PM I hate it but may as well mention it. Carl Sack dressed up as a french maid on a recent episode of Boston Legal. I'm just saying based on the awful sceencaps I found elsewhere.
Note to John: Never dress as a woman again, you look better in a suit!
Zebra 3 12-14-2008, 01:24 PM Hogan's Heroes (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/forumdisplay.php?f=71) - Newkirk a few times. Hogan, Carter and LeBeau. Schultz was fitted with a wedding dress.
megamanj2004 12-17-2008, 02:45 PM Celebrity Deathmatch - Before the match between Pat Sajak and Alex Trebek, co-host Nick Diamond lost a bet against Johnny Gomez so he had to masquerade as Vanna during the match.
Nick: "You're gonna pay for this, Gomez!"
Simpsons, The - The ep. where Bart breaks his buttbone
Bart and Milhouse were horsing around in Marge and Homer's bedroom and the boys found some wigs and bras and dresses and started jumping on the bed, until Bart broke his buttbone and Homer comes into the room and says:
Homer S.: "There'd better be a non-gay explanation for this!"
King of the Hill - The ep. where Bill really misses LeNoire
Bill's still having depressed memories about how LeNoire left him and in one ep. he even goes so far into putting on a blue dress and showing up at Hank's party in that same dress being heckled by other people. Then the funny things were Hank ended up putting on a dress (with his usual t-shirt and jeans underneath) and says
Hank: "WHOOOOO! It's that kind of party!"
And in the last few seconds of the episode, you can see Dale in a dress in the background as well.
