If I am ever at Dominos I might just try one of them. vtunie 10-05-2008, 11:21 PM http://jimmys.tw/images/PizzaPoster.jpg Argh! tell me you're making it up .... or gag me with a pizza-cutter! TVFactFan 10-05-2008, 11:29 PM Solomon, just because you don't like the idea of Dominos selling sandwiches doesn't mean you should try to discourage other people from eating them. If I am ever at Dominos I might just try one of them. LOL, i hope they have a different entrance for those wanting a sandwich Mr. Television 10-05-2008, 11:48 PM What's next? Subway does Boeuf en Croute, Eggs Madeira for breakfast, and Les Langoustines Grillees avec la Salade Doucette? ;) Our subway sells pizza and ice cream too. lol Stormtracker TF 10-06-2008, 12:16 AM When I think about going to Dominos, I think about going for Pizza. Not exactly looking for a variety. I don't like them anyway. Their cheese bread stuff is the BOMB, though. Ian 10-06-2008, 12:35 AM Don't knock it till you try it. I tried their chicken parmesan sandwich... good stuff! Schmoopie 10-06-2008, 12:47 AM I agree, people want a variety of foods available. I may try one of these subs. I didn't even know they had them! I couldn't fathom eating pasta from Pizza Hut, but then I read all the great "reviews" on this site, so I think I'm going to try some. There's a Pizza Hut right down the street from us. Andrea It may be something a female will try but for men watching a football game it's no way they are ordering sandwiches-lol Pizza and Football will be forever CONNECTED littlebelle 10-06-2008, 12:58 AM Remember when Mickey D's had tacos?? Man, those were some BAD tacos. MusicJunkie 10-06-2008, 12:59 AM I think a sandwich isn't a bad idea for someone who is walking distance from a Dominos and lives alone and doesn't feel like ordering a big pizza that will be making leftovers for days. Me? I love sandwiches so I'd like to try it out eventually. Dominos pizza isn't that good anyways IMO, I hope their sandwiches are better. MusicJunkie 10-06-2008, 01:00 AM Remember when Mickey D's had tacos?? Man, those were some BAD tacos. I had totally repressed my memory of that. That was disgusting. I have to admit with all the McDonalds experimentalization, the McRib was damn delicious Jude The Obscure 10-06-2008, 09:24 AM I remember Burger King had Pizza Firenze (and even changed their signage outside to reflect it!). Now Sol.......who says every guy goes for pizza with football? Around here, chicken wings, subs (or more precisely, po-boys), chips and dip, beer......all equate football food. TVFactFan 10-06-2008, 09:34 AM I remember Burger King had Pizza Firenze (and even changed their signage outside to reflect it!). Now Sol.......who says every guy goes for pizza with football? For football, Wings, pizza, chips, and dip Sandwich, NO Brieannas21 10-06-2008, 12:46 PM I remember Burger King had Pizza Firenze (and even changed their signage outside to reflect it!). Now Sol.......who says every guy goes for pizza with football? Around here, chicken wings, subs (or more precisely, po-boys), chips and dip, beer......all equate football food. Exactly Subs can be one of the main things at a football game. Maybe it's a southern thing. MusicJunkie 10-06-2008, 02:51 PM For football, Wings, pizza, chips, and dip Sandwich, NO according to you. You're like my brother in thinking that your way is the ONLY way and everyone else is wrong. I hate (hate is a strong word but I really do hate him for everything he's done to me and the rest of my family) my brother for being a closedminded nazi who thinks that anyone who disagrees with him on the color of the sky is wrong because he's god and his way is the only way. Have you ever seen those 20 foot subs? Those are for Super Bowl parties and the sort. Just because YOU hate sandwiches doesn't mean that millions upon millions of other people don't. TVFactFan 10-06-2008, 02:53 PM Exactly Subs can be one of the main things at a football game. Maybe it's a southern thing. Yeah it maybe a southern thing because up north we all eat fingery foods when watching the game TVFactFan 10-06-2008, 02:54 PM according to you. Maybe for a Superbowl party when there is a large variety of food but for a regular football sunday, most men will be eating something that is a finger type food like wings or pizza bandito 10-06-2008, 06:03 PM What kind of subs do they have?I'm not sure. My wife was ordering a pizza and she mentioned that they had subs, so i told her to get me an italian sub. It was on the small side, but very good. Jude The Obscure 10-06-2008, 06:45 PM For football, Wings, pizza, chips, and dip Sandwich, NO so when are YOU the authority on football food? pulllllleeze  TVFactFan 10-06-2008, 06:46 PM so when are YOU the authority on football food? pulllllleeze  Just ask any Football fan and see what they tell you-lol Jude The Obscure 10-06-2008, 08:50 PM Now, Sol, you're just getting silly here..... I'm not arguing the point about what Philly sports fans eat but come down here and let's see you tell football fans they can't eat sandwiches (or for that matter, jambalaya, fried chicken, gumbo, etc) Wreckless 10-06-2008, 11:41 PM I'm wondering what McDonalds sell pizza...No Philly or Jersey McDonalds sell anythin close to pizza lol. I wonder if it's any good? Even if it isn't, I'll eat any kind, brand of pizza. Tubehead 10-07-2008, 12:36 AM i tired the sub last firday. they were really good. if you want a good sub go to firehouse sub. they rock:) floyd2006 10-11-2008, 04:27 AM I think its silly of Domino's to do this. If I want a sub i'll go to subway(try the the meatball its great) but this is just one opinion of a pizza fan :) Janice 10-11-2008, 04:39 AM I like the idea. I'll only eat pizza if there's nothing else to eat. When we go out for pizza with friends, I order a sandwich, sub, burger, etc. If it's the two of us, he orders a pizza, and I get a meal. I do agree with Solomon that pizza is the food of choice for most men who get together to watch football games (not all, most). They may order wings and other appetizers, but pizza is the main food for football games. On big games, Superbowls, whatever, you have to place your order hours beforehand at the big pizza places. Wreckless 10-11-2008, 07:02 AM This thread is making me hungry lol! Yeah pizza is the primary football meal (at least for men), along with a side- hot wings, chicken etc. TVFactFan 10-11-2008, 10:41 AM This thread is making me hungry lol! Yeah pizza is the primary football meal (at least for men), along with a side- hot wings, chicken etc. When money is tight I have eaten CHICKEN FRIED RICE from the chinese store when watching football-lol |
