No offence to the poster of the "TV shows with baggage" thread :) :) , but I actually thought the topic was literal.

So: Name some moments on TV shows where suitcases, trunks, etc., played a funny or unexpected role.... :happyface

My candidate: Three's Company, "The Case of The Missing Blonde"

[Jack and Janet show up at the Lanai Motel looking for Cindy, presumed kidnapped]
Hotel Manager: Would you like a room?
Jack: Uhhh...
Hotel Manager: Do you have luggage?
Jack: No, we don't have luggage!
Hotel Manager: Sorry! This is a respectable motel! ... Would you like to rent luggage? 50 dollars!

The Lucy Show, "Lucy Goes to London."

Lucy is ready at the airport for her trip. But her airline ticket happens to be located in her luggage. Unfortunately, the luggage is already on its way, via conveyor, through a small opening and on into another room. So of course, to retieve the ticket, Lucy gets on the conveyor belt to follow it!

On Friends, Chandler stayed in a trunk as punishment for messing around with Kathy even though she was with Joey.

On Wings, Joe's & Brian's father left them a suitcase before he died. They thought it had money, but when they opened it, it had those trick snakes in it that pop out at you. That suitcase would appear again, I think, two other times in the series.

I don't watch Everybody Loves Raymond much, but I believe there was an episode where a suitcase sat up on the staircase landing for the longest time and nobody took it upstairs and Debra was getting all pissed off about it.

That's funny! So did I!

The only ones I can think of off hand: The Full House episode where the Tanner's get stranded at the airport on Christmas. Danny is asleep on that luggage conveyor belt and Michelle pushes the button, sending him on a trip (literally) to outside! He comes back and is all covered in snow!

And on Seinfeld, there is one episode where they can't find Kramer and all of a sudden he comes shooting out of the baggage shoot onto the carousel!

The I Love Lucy episode where she has Little Ricky. Fred and Ricky make a mess out of trying to get her suitcase back together.
