Does anyone happen to know if there is a way to get a clear view of a certain spot in a screen capture? Like a close-up shot?

Yes, there is.
However, it depends on the software, system, type and quality of the source.
For example, with a jpg source and Photoshop you could get good results.

Holly (and to whoever else is reading) I'll explain what I'm asking....

In episode, He's All Yours, [from Season One], the girls mention Mary's Nancy Drew books. In a few shots, they actually show the cover. Is there a way to get a close enough shot to maybe see what the title is, or not?

If you tell me the episode and the time on DVD where the books are displayed, I will see if I can get a clear picture. It is a Long shot, but worth trying.
