I love the NFL, and I will be watching it. It might turn out to be one of the best games you ever saw. Just because it's not your Cowboys headling Monday Night, does not mean it can't be flashy. I always liked to see the Vikings play. Hell, they use to be my other team I would secretly cheer for.

Both are not among the NFC elite and that makes for boring football. Now the Vikings and Packers were intriguing on MNF but i have no interest in the Saints

I will still be watching it. Did you watch the Cowboys when they were 5-11 for three straight years?

That's what I am trying to tell him. The Saints, got a good offense, and should be able to put up some points on Monday Night.

Try and understand what I mean, I'm talking about MNF MAtchups, not Sunday afternoon. My expectations for matchups are higher on MNF

on sunday I will watch ANY GAME

I see what you are saying, but I am also saying that football is football, and I am sure the league expected a little more out of the Saints and Vikings when they made the schedule.

And just for the record, the Cowboys were on Monday Nights and on national TV when they were 5-11. Did you forget Thanksgiving day?

I think the NFL needs to do a better job in scheduling MNF Games

I guess that's why NBC has that flex schedule later in the season.

To be fair, the Vikings were "expected" to be significantly better this year. It won't be very exciting, outside of Adrian Peterson, especially with Gus Frerotten throwing to recievers that can't catch, *cough*Bernard Berrian*cough*. Not to mention one of the league's best MLBs in E.J. Henderson will be out for a few weeks.

Of course, I will still be watching it.
