I do not remember where I saw this, but at one point I saw an alternate for a scene in the pilot episode. As most true fans know, the pilot episode was "Katie the Crook". After Katie says and does a whole bunch of rebelous things, including shoplifting, he tells her to get out of his house. In the episode that aired, it was never really emplied where she planned to go. She was just so angry at her father that she felt she needed to get away. It was implied that she felt that homelessness was a better alternative to what she had. In the end, in a typical and highly predictable manner, Katie and her dad made piece and she realized how lucky she was to have the living arraingment that she had. However, at one point, I saw a version of that scene in which he tells her to go live with her aunt. I know he says the name of the aunt, but I do not remember it. Dose anyone reading this thread know about this alternate episode? Dose anyone know why they changed it?
