View Full Version : Chris Berman picks the redskins to beat the Eagles, LOL-I'm stunned
TVFactFan 10-03-2008, 07:31 PM Just kidding, he didn't pick that game, I WONDER WHY
But that A$$hole picked the Lions to beat the Bears 21-20?-LOL He is a weirdo
He also picked the Seahawks to beat the Giants
Wreckless 10-03-2008, 09:23 PM I saw that too lol. littlebelle and Andrea would want that Seattle pick lol but the Giants are a good team.
Brian Damage 10-03-2008, 10:04 PM He might have picked the Seahawks over the Giants because Plaxico Burress is suspended.
TVFactFan 10-03-2008, 10:23 PM He might have picked the Seahawks over the Giants because Plaxico Burress is suspended.
No it's because he is hoping that the Eagles catch the Giants in the Standings-LOL
Big C 10-03-2008, 10:26 PM The Eagles have injury issues and their defense has given up some big plays.
Maybe that's why Berman picked Washington?
Brian Damage 10-03-2008, 10:30 PM The Eagles have injury issues and their defense has given up some big plays.

True, without Brian Westbrook, the Eagles are a far different team.

Berman didn't make a prediction on the Eagles/Skins game, I said i was joking.
He predicted the Lions would beat the Bears and the Seabags will beat the Giants
littlebelle 10-03-2008, 11:23 PM Seabags
Watch it boy.

Well it won't be the same westbrook so I'm cool if he plays
Mr. Television 10-04-2008, 11:45 AM Shouldn't we be rooting for the Eagles this week Sol?
TVFactFan 10-04-2008, 11:49 AM Shouldn't we be rooting for the Eagles this week Sol?
Yes, LOL But This is a game that I can honestly say I won't care who wins since I hate the Eagles but if the Eagles lose then it won't be a typical loss since it would help the Cowboys to 2nd and possibly 1st place.
But what if the Eagles win and then we lose to the stinkin bengals?-lol Then it will look like this
Giants-4-0
Cowboys-3-2
Skins-3-2
Eagles-3-2
LOL
GARFIELDKOOL 10-04-2008, 01:57 PM Since I won't get the Skins/Eagles game, I will be at the bar tommorrow. You know I can't miss a huge NFC East matchup.

If the skins win I can give you a copy if it is one of those memorable wins
GARFIELDKOOL 10-04-2008, 02:23 PM If the skins win I can give you a copy if it is one of those memorable wins
Tony Koienhesier (or however you spell his last name) said if the skins win, he sees us as a Superbowl team.
Big C 10-04-2008, 02:25 PM I don't have NFL Sunday Ticket (my family has cable), so instead of these important NFC East battles, I'm stuck with Bears/Lions and Falcons/Packers.
Back when I lived in Buffalo, I could always count on NFC East games on CBS/FOX.
Now, I'm doomed to nothing but Bears/Packers reruns.
Mr. Television 10-04-2008, 02:28 PM I get the Redskins and Eagles. I also checked and I get the Cowboys and Bengals. Tomorrows going to be a good day. lol
GARFIELDKOOL 10-04-2008, 02:36 PM http://www.the506.com/nflmaps/2008-05-FOX.html
This is the FOX single game

Sonny it just dawned on me that it really doesn't matter who wins between the skins and eagles because the winner will still be tied with the cowboys for 2nd. I guess it depends on what team u hate more and for me it's the beagles-lol So I rather be tied at 4-1 with the Skins and have the NFC East look like this
Giants-4-0
Cowboys-4-1
Skins-4-1
Eagles-2-3
lol

If we lose, we will be 3-2 and I will still feel good.

Why the Skins would be in Last place?
GARFIELDKOOL 10-04-2008, 06:35 PM Why the Skins would be in Last place?
Well, we would still have a winning record, but now that you mentioned it, we need this game. I don't want to fall behind in a division that is so tough that, according to the media, we aren't suppose to be competitive.

Yeah you should say instead if yall lose it won't be the end of the world because yall would still be over .500
but defintely don't say you will be HAPPY-lol

Yeah, because after Philly, we got the Rams, Browns, and the Lions. Even though those are games aren't guaranteed, we need to just win games. because if you beat sorry teams, you won't get respected. That's why I feel we can come into the Linc and beat the Eagles. We did it last year. Hell, they owned us at Fed Ex Field for a while, and that's got to stop.

There you go again Solomon... He should be excited about his team...they beat your team at your place... Who cares what place they are in... Like I have told you 25 times...u could make a case that the team in last place in the nfc east is the 4th best team in football... with the other 3 in the divison just ahead of them...

Not Necessarily, you are forgetting about the BUCS and PANTHERS AND BEARS who would all have better records.
Mike I'm watching a Skins/eagles game at the Vet on 9/19/93, Eagles won 34-31. Were u at that game?

The sad part about it is that all 4 teams could have a winning record, and one will miss the playoffs.

sure was.... that was my second season as a season ticket holder.... good old section 652 at the vet... God what a year that was... started off 4-0. then randall got hurt & it was all down hill after that... I know we rallied to finish 8-8 but that was a tough year... I think we started off 4-0 then lost six in a row..then beat the skins again... then a few more lost in a row...then we finished by winning the last 3... that was a crazy year... I think that was also the year don schula broke the record...he did it at the vet in front of my eyes... I think the score was 19-14

I still haven't decided who to root for. I should root for the Eagles because the Redskins beat us at our place and later on down the road...tiebreakers could come in and we at least beat the Eagles already. I'm not confidant beating the Redskins at their place. On the other hand a 2-3 Eagle record is appealing too. lol

Yeah that game made me scare my new roomate in college because I started slamming sh*T after Randal hit Calvin williams in back of the endzone-lol I was so disgusted that day.
Wreckless 10-05-2008, 01:23 PM Yeah, Eagles up 14-0 Mike!!!!!! Whoo, Having Westbrook back is God. Kickoff return for a TD by Jackson, first kickoff return for a TD since westbrook had one in '03. Yeah.

Kyle you are going to learn as you get OLDER that a football game is 4 quarters and that a 14 point lead means nothing. Westbrook is GOOD but it was still more football to play and the Skins comeback and defeat the Eagles and they are now 2-3 in last place where they belong-lol
Big C 10-05-2008, 06:07 PM a football game is 4 quarters and that a 14 point lead means nothing
Just ask the Texans.

Buffalo is playing the Cardinals tough right now.

What the Hell are you talking about? That is the point I'm making, no lead in the NFL is safe
