In today's society, it seems that we are losing privacy and we can be tracked down more easily.

At my local DMV, to get a permit and license, they want all these documents and want to know your whole life story.
Columbia House Videos called my aunt's house once claiming I owed them money (which I didn't.) I never gave them my aunt's phone number. The lady said they have 'their ways" of tracking that information down.
My dad owed a bill to a bank and somehow, someone tracked down his current bank account and frozed his money. But he was glad to get the bill paid off.
Years ago when we had financial hardtimes, we had to go on welfare for a sgort period of time. The case worker was nosey and asking about my moms eye color, weight, race, where she worked, and her hair color.
If a celebrity gets in trouble or something else private to them gets leaked, it is plastered in every magazine and on every news show.

We can't get away from it.

And it's one of the reasons identity theft is so rampant because the info IS easy to find. Never give out your social security number - EVER unless it's for taxes or governement related things.

But yeah, especially if you owe money it's quite easy to track people down now. Just make sure bills are paid and you won't have that problem. ;)
