Does anyone know if there was only one version of the opening credits for Season 2. I have the 1st season on DVD and for Nell Goes to Jail it shows just the 5 cast members, Nell, Chief, Katie, Julie and Sam. Is there a second version out there with Grandpa of Officer Simpson? Or did they not appear in the opening until Season 3?

Well, I was able to determine that Howard Morton began appearing the opening credits later in the season beginning with Grandpa Robs a Bank. However, does anyone know when John Hoyt began appearing in the opening credits.

Grandpa was added to the opening in season 2 and was in episodes in season 1.


Simpson was added to the opening at the end of season 2, but he only was in "Grandpa Robs A Bank". He didn't appear in the last few after that one. He was in episodes in season 1 and 2.



Addy was added to the opening in season 4 but was in episodes in season 3.
