On October 2nd, 1950 Peanuts debuted in seven newspapers! Happy 58th Birthday to my favorite comic strip characters! The comic strip shown is the very first one that appeared in newspapers-and it still makes me laugh!

Thanks for sharing this, I've been a fan of the Peanuts gang for a long time but never knew they made their debut on October 2nd which is my B-day and the same day that Twilight Zone and Alfred Hitchcock Presents debuted on tv. How lucky can one get? :D
