Lane Kiffin said the Press Conference was PAINFUL-lol

Al Davis said

Kiffin never wanted to draft Jamarcus Russell

He was doing everything he could to get fired

My question is why was Kifin watching the press conference?-lol

That is so unprofessional. Why wouldn't you want Jamarcus Russel?! I am sure Mr. Russel is very uncomfortable now in an organization like that. And another thing, why would Lane go publice about his salary? They should have kept all of that to themselves.

Al Davis has always been really arrogant.
Plus, nobody not just around the league.
But even in the Raiders doesn't like him.
He is one of the most-hated owners in all of sports.
Right up there with Cowboys Jerry Jones and Mavericks Mark Cuban.
Unfortunately, Davis won't ever retire but will die with his boots on.
Owning the team and taking them to his grave.

Al Davis is a senile old man and as long as he is owner of the Oakland Raiders, they will never win another title. Al Davis has some pair of balls to not pay Lane Kiffin his money. He did the same thing with Mike Shanahan.

I had no idea that Mike Shanahan was fired from the Raiders in 1989-lol That was all NEW to me

I think the league will have to do something.

Davis can't get away with not paying Kiffin. After pulling this crap with Shanahan years ago, it's an embarrassment to the NFL.

Kiffin will end up suing Davis- and I'm sure if he never wanted to coach in the NFL again, he could sue the NFL.

I mean there has to be some league policy where owners must honor their contracts.

The thing is dlemond, Lane Kiffin will probably never get another NFL job again because Al Davis is besmirching his name.

But who is taking Al Davis seriously?
Who actually believes this guy is telling the truth?

And who doesn't know that there is plenty of vacancy in that hotel of a head of his?

Very true, I am sure Jon Gruden and the Buccaneers would pick him up considering that is Monty Kiffin's kid.

Al Davis has lost his mind. At one time he was one of the best owners in the NFL....now he's a joke.

That is why Shanahan always enjoys beating the Raiders - he thinks he was screwed over by Davis.

Davis should be in a retirement home, he is worse than the Seinfeld caricature of Steinbrenner...

Maybe he should be a different kind of coach for a while because he does seem too young to take seriously. I know he is 33 but he look 26-lol

Yeah he does lol...Even 33 is young as hell for a head coach in any sport. He does look younger though..
