When I saw Santana celebrating on Saturday Night I thought they clinched a playoff spot-lol From the celebration of the crowd and players it was hard to tell that they still had another game they had to win.

The Mets don't have a bad rotation, they just don't use their talent to their advantage. Pedro is great, just he's getting old, not the same Pedro and he sucked this year when healthy, Oliver Perez strikes out a lot of guys and has good stuff but he walks a lot of guys and doesn't commit, same with John Maine. Pelfrey is good as well.

Francesa killed the Mets today. He wants Wright and Reyes out of there. He said Beltran and Santana are the only ones who showed anything this weekend. They need another bat and possibly they should trade Delgado or even Wright to shake this team up. They need to add another starter in their pitching rotation or two and need SERIOUS bullpen help. Will they go after K-Rod?

This team clearly can't do it. So many chokers on this team. They need new players. Wright, Beltran, Delgado, and Reyes played at least 159 games each. That's almost half their offense right there and they still can't get into the playoffs. They need to sign someone. Why keep the same team!? I bet you Omar will TRY to get K-Rod. Will he come though? Maybe Wagner can move to the 8th.
