As the title says, I recently purchased #2 of ABC's '70's comedy "What's Happening!!" from the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Simpsonville just recently. So far, two episodes in, it is shaping up to be a good one. I've laughed my way through both of the ones that I have seen so far.

I have heard it said that #2 (1977-78) was the best season of that series. I also thought that #1 was pretty good too, having rented that one from Netflix; I'd like to purchase that one sometime too. I'm kind of leery about
#3, having heard that it was pretty much hit-or-miss then (or should I say hit-and-miss; which is correct?), based on such issues as Mabel King's departure, et al.

Like I said, so far, it is shaping up to be some of the best $13 that I ever spent.

I don't think that I knew that. I always thought, having read reviews of #2 from Amazon and other places, that, based on these opinions, it was the best. This is part of why I purchased #2. Perhaps I read too much into those opinions.

Anyway, four episodes into it, I am kind of leery of the one where Rerun worships a head of lettuce named "Ralph." As that one draws closer, I'm somewhat scared of what it might be like.

In my opinion season 2 was the best because the Mother had a Decreased role on the show
