Who do you all think will win this dream match? Although many are impressed with Brock's 3 round dominating decision win over "The Texas Crazy Horse" Heath Herring, as well as his utter dominance against Frank Mir in the first 1:30 of their match before Brock got tapped out, I don't see him having much of a chance against "The Natural." Many are giving Lesnar the striking edge which I believe is ludicrous. They also gave Liddell the punching edge in their first matchup, and Couture knocked the crap out of him. Then in his comeback match against Tim Sylvia the so called most devastating puncher in the Heavyweight division at the time, Couture almost knocks him out in the first 10 seconds, dominates both on his feet and on the ground for 5 rounds, and becames the oldest world champion of all time. From there he goes on to knock out Gabriel Gonzaga, who knocked out the most feared striker in Mirko Crocop, with Crocop's own devastating signature kick. On the ground I would say Brock and Couture are even giving a possible slight edge to Lesnar, but they are both mostly known for their world class wrestling. If the fight goes on the ground though, Couture's judo will end up finishing Brock quickly I believe. My prediction for the match though is a quick knockout for Couture at about 2:00 in the first round. My hope is that after this win, we'll finally get to see Couture verses Fedor Emelienenko, the match every mma fan has been wanting for years. Anyway, to all you mma fans, what is your prediction for this fight, and what do you hope happens after this fight as a result??

Now I really feel like a moron. It's Monday night, which means MNF. :rotflmao: Oh boy, it's fun being a moron. Atleast I have an excuse though, I was sick all day, and just woke up. It would be really bad if I had no excuse. Alright, you may all commence with your football talk now.

Wasn't Brock Lesner that goof that tried out to be on the Minnesota Vikings? lol.

Yeah, before that he was a multiple time NCAA World Champion amateur wrestler.

:bump

Since the fight is officially less than a week away, I thought I would bump this older thread instead of starting a new one. I'm sure there's got to be some MMA fans here. Who do you all think will win, and how do you think they'll win? Please vote. Thanks!!

Brock Lesnar was in the WWE as the The Next Big Thing Brock Lesnar Managed by Paul Heyman...Creator of ECW Wrestling....he was an okay wrestler hope he is better at this...but have heard from my Bro he is sorta a joke at this losing his first match in like 33 seconds....he is also married to wrestling Valet/Wrestler Sable....I am a bigg WRESTLING fan...Sports really except basketball and soccer...He Lost The WWE title to the late Eddie Guerro when Goldberg speared Lesnar and Eddie reversed into DDT into frogsplash for title....Wishing him luck in this fight.

He's definitely no joke for sure, and has all the potential in the world to be the UFC champion one day. Even though he lost to Frank Mir in his second fight, he absolutely dominated him, and almost submitted him with punches, and probably would have submitted him had Mir not gotten ahold of his leg for the submission. In his next fight he absolutely destroyed top heavyweight contender Heath Herring, breaking a bone in his face. That fight legitimized him right there. His first fight against Min Soo Kim was also extremely quick and brutal. Lesnar got him on the ground, and made the guy tap from strikes in less than a minute. Poor guy's face looked like Rocky Balboa's at the end of the original Rocky movie. Brock has bone breaking strikes, possibly the best wrestling in the game today, and he has brute strength like a gorilla. Had Brock gotten into this sport say 5 years ago, I have no doubt that he'd be the top guy in the UFC right now. He's definitely not a joke. Dana White, (UFC's President) doesn't give title shots out sparringly, and he surely wouldn't give a title shot to a joke. While I do believe Couture will win, I also wouldn't be surprised to see Lesnar take the belt from him. As long as he sticks to his strengths, and avoids getting submitted, this should make for a great fight.
