Ok, espn is silly thinking Pujols is MVP. he has a great average and has had a great year but he's not even leading any of the 3 major categories, average, homers or rbis. With that being said, post your opinion on the awards for each league...NL/AL MVP, NL/AL ROY, Manager of the year, CY young NL/AL, offense players of the year and whatever other categories for each league you wanna post your picks in..For me...
NL MVP- Ryan Howard, leads the majors with 48 homers and 147 rbis, he upped his average to .250, it's all about driving in runs, Phils won the East too
AL MVP- Josh Hamilton...he bounced back, had a great year, he's been eh the last month and a half but he's hitting over .300, he drove in over 120 runs and had around 30 homers...did great...Pedroia, Youkolis and Quentin were close to getting my vote
NL ROY- Geovonni Soto- Had an all around great year
AL ROY- Evan Longoria
CY Young- NL- Tim Lincecum
AL- Cliff Lee- had great stuff for a team that was under .500 most of the season
Offensive Player of the Year- NL- Ryan Howard- Almost 50 homers and 150 rbis says it all
AL- Miguel Cabrera
MOY- NL- Jerry Manuel- Although I hate the Mets, he did a really good job. He was smart with his choices, turned his team around and MIGHT get them in the playoffs after they were under .500 under Willy Randolph
AL- Joe Maddon- You have to go with this guy, the rays have done everything right/great this year
I will post other pics later, your picks?
