View Full Version : Mets are pitiful, Jerry Manuel is too cool to be Manager and the Owner is on DRUGS
TVFactFan 09-28-2008, 12:24 PM Congrats to the Brewers who defintely showed today that they are a team who wanted to go to the postseason. Mets on the otherhand are paTHETIC-LOL
Maybe the Mets and Nats should hang out and watch the playoffs together
Brian Damage 09-28-2008, 12:43 PM I like the Brewers chances today because they have C.C. Sabathia on the mound. I have a feeling that there will be a one game playoff.
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 12:57 PM Doesn't matter to me who wins it...
TVFactFan 09-28-2008, 01:50 PM Doesn't matter to me who wins it...
It should, if the Mets win the Phils play the Dodgers with Manny and Joe Torre
Mets Lose the Phils play a weaker team-"brewers"
TVFactFan 09-28-2008, 01:51 PM I like the Brewers chances today because they have C.C. Sabathia on the mound. I have a feeling that there will be a one game playoff.
I have to check and see what time the brewers play, i know the mets/marlins is delayed because of rain
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 01:53 PM I see your point but I can't get caught up and wondering all day who we'll play lol. Like the Phils players said, it doesn't matter, you have to beat everybody to be good & recognized or you will have to play great times sometime or another. I don't care as a fan, I just route for the Phils to play fun, great baseball and yes, for them to win too. So nah It doesn't matter. Bring on the Dodgers or Brewers lol.
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 01:55 PM Also, they swept us in their park, and we swept them in our ballpark. Brewers you have Sheets, Sabathia, Fielder and others, yet we swept them in a 4 game series, with 2 of the games being part of a day night double header which is hard to win both. So doesn't matter lol.

I'm sure most of this area is pulling for the Marlins-lol
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 01:59 PM Actually, I haven't heard much talk of that Met/Marlins series lol. Is it still raining in Shea? I just thought of this, If it's raining in Flushing, shouldn't it go away?
 @ puns
TVFactFan 09-28-2008, 02:05 PM Actually, I haven't heard much talk of that Met/Marlins series lol. Is it still raining in Shea? I just thought of this, If it's raining in Flushing, shouldn't it go away?
 @ puns
The game has started at shea now and the brewers/cubs are starting now
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 02:08 PM Oh ok, I'll have to go to ESPN.com and get the MLB Gameday thing where you can watch it online, without actually seeing the game lol. Yahoo Sports has been **** the last week, their stats and game day stats are all out of order.
TVFactFan 09-28-2008, 02:12 PM Oh ok, I'll have to go to ESPN.com and get the MLB Gameday thing where you can watch it online, without actually seeing the game lol. Yahoo Sports has been **** the last week, their stats and game day stats are all out of order.
Foxsports.com is where you go for sports scores but I don't need to go there today because of the Fox Sports Ticker on the Screen of the Football Game
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 02:15 PM You go their for football and baseball? I like espn but I guess that site isn't bad either, never tried it/went to it. Plus I go to yahoo, idk why, because I have a yahoo email account lol, although I have an ESPN.com account as well (not an e-mail one though).

Yes i go there for NBA, NFL, and MLB, love it and been going there since 2006. ESPN.com is not compatible with MSN so that's why Foxsports works so well because MSN and fox is connected
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 02:26 PM Oh ok, I see why you would go there then. I usually go on with I.N. or Mozilla so it's compatible.
TVFactFan 09-28-2008, 02:46 PM I see Sabathia has give up a run, Brew Crew down 1-0
Mets and Marlins still scoreless in the 3rd
And why the F*CK did the Nats even show up today? They want to all of a sudden be interested in leading the phils 3-1. That team is defintely a piece of SH*T
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 02:48 PM Actually, Phils just scored 2 on a Iguchi single, 3-3 lol...Nats are pathetic
they're actually like the real like Nats, you swat and squash them constantly.
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 02:49 PM Edit: Phils scored another. 3 runs we scored this inning on 2 outs. We're playing our backups, minor league guys vs. their starters and winning lol. 4-3
TVFactFan 09-28-2008, 02:53 PM Edit: Phils scored another. 3 runs we scored this inning on 2 outs. We're playing our backups, minor league guys vs. their starters and winning lol. 4-3
Yeah seeing the Nats win today would be so dumb. I would think they would give it sh*t, the phils are in and it's nothing they can do now to stop them from getting in so why even swing the f*cking bat at all in a agressive way?-lol
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 02:55 PM Yeah, the Nats winning it would mean nothing lol..WTF Manny Acta just took out the Nats pitcher supposedly cause he got injured. I know you don't wanna risk the guy being injured for the rest of his career, but damn, it's the last game/last couple of innings on a year that'll be happy for you to let go of lol. It's not like the Nats will make it to the playoffs, so they can't risk their best guy getting injured. Not that I want guys injured but it doesn't matter.
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 03:22 PM John Baker of the Marlins singles in a run....Marlins 1-0 in the Top of the 6th at Shea
Cubs 1-0 over Brewers
ahh races are boiling down lol...
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 03:24 PM Phillies leading 5-3. Ryan Howard comes out for an AB lol singles the opposite way, Taguchi tripples him home.
TVFactFan 09-28-2008, 03:25 PM Sad thing is I think both teams will get swept in the frst round of the postseason
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 03:28 PM I'm waiting to see if their will be a one game playoff lol. Sabathia pitching today means he might not pitch the first game of the playoffs IF milwaukee even makes it lol..
TVFactFan 09-28-2008, 03:30 PM I'm waiting to see if their will be a one game playoff lol. Sabathia pitching today means he might not pitch the first game of the playoffs IF milwaukee even makes it lol..
Both, both teams have inconsistent offenses. The Phillies on the othehand are not but maybe on the pitching end.
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 03:51 PM Yeah that's true. Phils have shown good pitching show. Moyer is real good for his age and better then people give him credit for, Hamels is good, Myers for awhile has shown ability to bounce back and be great. Guys think of Kendrick and Adam EATON lol, when we're not bad. I don't understand the Mets offense. They have no heart but so much talent. Delgado, Wright, Beltran, Reyes and Church are all great, especially the 4 four guys, yet they're inconsistent and heartless as can be.
TVFactFan 09-28-2008, 03:58 PM Mets tied at 2-2 in the 7th and Brewers still down 1-0
TVFactFan 09-28-2008, 04:11 PM Both teams still tied, Mets at 2-2 in the 7th and Brewers tied at 1-1 in the 8th
TVFactFan 09-28-2008, 04:20 PM Mets down 3-2 in 8th and Brew Crew still tied-lol
Mets hanging by a thread
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 04:23 PM Phils win 8-3, our minor leaguers and back ups vs. their starters and we still kill them lol...Lou Marson, a homer and 3 rbis, happy for the young fella...
GO Phils!
This season was amazing, I'm gonna miss the local broadcasters in the playoffs but I can't wait for the playoffs.
TVFactFan 09-28-2008, 04:26 PM Phils win 8-3, our minor leaguers and back ups vs. their starters and we still kill them lol...Lou Marson, a homer and 3 rbis, happy for the young fella...
GO Phils!

Well the Phillies will be playing the Brewers, they are winning 3-1 now and the Mutts are down 4-2-lol
Phillies I think will beat the brewers 3-0 in round one
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 04:28 PM Damn, the Brewers must of just scored. Homer or big inning for Milwaukee? Well at least Sabathia had to pitch today lol..
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 04:28 PM 4-2 Florida now..Wes Helms is a joke/bust lol..I can't believe he has a homer this game.
TVFactFan 09-28-2008, 04:30 PM 4-2 Florida now..Wes Helms is a joke/bust lol..I can't believe he has a homer this game.
The Entire Franchise is a JOKE, maybe they should give the GM another extension-lol
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 04:34 PM The Marlins? Their fan base is a JOKEEE lol... i heard a lot of florida ppl watch the games on tele, but that doesn't mean sh*t. You still should show up to the ballpark for your team. I've seen pics of Dolphins Stadium with like 100 some people in the pic lol, a joke. The Marlins did well this year, 83/84 wins for a young, inexperienced team. But they rebuild a whole lot. They give up great young guys once they win, or to get prospects. I don't get it but it seems to work.
TVFactFan 09-28-2008, 04:39 PM Brewers just won and get to watch the Mets-lol
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 04:40 PM Oh, and Chicago/Milwaukee FINAL, Milwaukee 3-1 over the Cubs.
So Milwaukee can do no worst then a tie with a Mets, with a possible 1 game playoff tie breaker @ Shea tomorrow, IF the Mets win.
4-2 Florida over NY, bottom of the 8th
Oh and Sabathia threw 121 pitches, if he pitches Game 1 vs. Hamels, he SHOULD be tired lol, if not, we have to take advantage of possibly no Sheets/an injured Sheets or no Sabathia. We'll see. I'm just so excited.
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 04:41 PM Brewers just won and get to watch the Mets-lol
Yup
TVFactFan 09-28-2008, 04:42 PM The Marlins? Their fan base is a JOKEEE lol... i heard a lot of florida ppl watch the games on tele, but that doesn't mean sh*t. No the Mutts Franchise, they reward a GM with a new deal and hadn't made the playofffs yet-lol
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 04:43 PM ^ lmao... lol and how the hell do you fly out for a double play? Top of the 9th in Shea, sounds like the Mets are making mistakes running.
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 04:46 PM I hate when it's the end of the baseball season. I like the playoffs but the season is great and it's like the end of summer and nice weather, baseball and relaxing.
TVFactFan 09-28-2008, 04:47 PM ^ lmao... lol and how the hell do you fly out for a double play? Top of the 9th in Shea, sounds like the Mets are making mistakes running.
And there should be any sad faces on the paper because this was nothing new for mets fans. I can see last year because they coughed up a lead but not this year, they never had one
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 04:53 PM Well they actually had a 3.5 game lead with like 11/12 to go and coughed that up, but it wasn't as bad as last year...
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 05:03 PM Marlins 4-2 over the Mets, Bottom 9 in Shea, 2 outs, Easley walked...Church up
EDIT: FINAL, Mets out of the playoffs, 4-2 loss to Florida, Church flies out to center...
Brewers win the Wild Card
Match ups: Dodgers @ Cubs
Brewers @ Phils
GO Phils!
TVFactFan 09-28-2008, 05:05 PM Marlins 4-2 over the Mets, Bottom 9 in Shea, 2 outs, 3-1 to Easley...
I will be waiting for the fox update so they can show sad mets fans. I don't know even why they would stay instead of leaving
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 05:18 PM Yeah...I can't believe the season is over already..
James 09-28-2008, 06:25 PM GO Phils!
:clap :clap :clap(Sorry, Solomon. :D)
TVFactFan 09-28-2008, 06:36 PM Now that the Mets are OUT maybe the GM should get another 5 years added to his contrtact-lol
TVFactFan 09-28-2008, 06:37 PM :clap :clap :clap(Sorry, Solomon. :D)
What are you another Phillies fan?
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 06:49 PM Their are Phils fans everywhere lol even in the slimest of places..
BYE MUTS and GAY STADIDUM hahaha
James 09-28-2008, 07:08 PM What are you another Phillies fan?
For at least their next three games, yes.
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 07:10 PM ^ Yeah man. You're a Cubs fan right? Go Phils and Cubs
Although, I don't care who we play in the playoffs, I'd like to see the Cubs/Phils in the championship series or whatever you call it, so that one of the historic franchises has a chance to win the WS.
James 09-28-2008, 07:14 PM ^ Yeah man. You're a Cubs fan right? Go Phils and Cubs
Yes, I'm a Cubs fan, but I'm rooting for the Phils to take out the Brewers, a team I hate with a PASSION!!! :angryfire
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 07:15 PM Alright, Phils and Cubs in the NLDS. Go Phils!!!
TVFactFan 09-28-2008, 08:38 PM Yes, I'm a Cubs fan, but I'm rooting for the Phils to take out the Brewers, a team I hate with a PASSION!!! :angryfire
Well I will be rooting for Dodgers to knock the Cubs the f*ck out
Wreckless 09-28-2008, 08:40 PM
Brian Damage 09-28-2008, 08:41 PM Well I will be rooting for Dodgers to knock the Cubs the f*ck out
What's your problem with the Cubs Sol??? lol
TVFactFan 09-29-2008, 01:43 AM What's your problem with the Cubs Sol??? lol
Just messing with James since he rooting for the Phillies-lol
TVFactFan 09-29-2008, 01:45 AM I was very surprised that ESPN showed no footage of Mets fans after the Highlights,
