I am not an American Idol viewer, but Jennifer totally won me over with her performance in Dreamgirls, and I also enjoyed her role in the Sex And The City movie. Her self-titled cd is finally coming out, although "Spotlight" has been out for four months. Anyone else looking forward to check it out? I think she has the potential to be a true diva on a Whitney/Aretha type scale if she plays her cards right.

listening to it the first time (downloaded, shhhhh), I'm not too impressed. There's only been two or three songs on there that are on the same calibre as Spotlight and And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going. I do like that she and Fantasia prove there is no bad blood between them (since Fantasia won AI and Fantasia was up for Dreamgirls and Hudson got the role instead) on a duet. But a lot of the album seems like generic faceless r&b that Keyshia Cole or any other can do, nowhere as good as Beyonce's stuff IMO.
