A lot of animals have been rescued, due to the hurricane and taken in by places like Petsmart etc.

We adopted a kitten from Petsmart. He's a tuxedo cat. He's approx. 7 months old. He's black and white. He is cute. I don't have any pictures of him though. Maybe at some point I will. :) Even though a lot has been going on in the recovery effort after Hurricane Ike, we thought a new addition would be nice to have. So we have Cuddles of course, and the new kitten who my mother and sister are calling Romeo. I'm guessing that's the name we are going with, lol. He has a lot of energy. He's very vocal with his meowing. We have been trying to keep his scratching to a minimum, but it's hard. He weighs 8 pounds. Cuddles weighs 13 pounds.

That's wonderful that your family rescued a cat. I love the name Romeo, and it's great that Cuddles has a baby brother. Our cat Lily is very vocal. It's unreal. I swear that she actually talks. She yells Nooooo just like a person, lol. Congratulations on the latest addition to your family.

Thanks. His whiskers are white. He has a white spot on his face. It almost looks like he got a spot of white paint on his face, but he didn't. :lol:
