We're not supposed to get into much detail about issues/fights/disagreements that have gone on, but Irene was upset by something a while back and is taking a break. Some people are still in contact with her outside of SO and she's saying she still won't come back.

I'm hoping that she will though. We've ALL had our share of disagreements over time on these boards, as any group of people would. Let's face it - it's bound to happen anytime you get a group of people together for any length of time. I am hoping though that Irene is mature enough to realize this (and I think she is) and will come back after a break. You'll never please everybody in life so you have to forgive, forget and move on. And keep in mind that for every person you don't get along with, they'll be 10 more that you do, and who will miss you being away. The only person you hurt holding a grudge is yourself I've found - life is too short. We're all human in the end, and if we can't move on, on a internet forum, then how are we all going to get along in life.

Soooo, that said, in my blunt, TripperFan way, I'm going to say - IRENE - YOU'SE GIT YER ASS BACK HERE SISTA! ;) :p :D

I miss Irene, too. I'm not exactly sure what went down but hopefully time will heal some wounds and she'll eventually consider coming back. It still might take a while but I hope she comes back. I miss reading her posts, too, she never failed to crack me up!

i miss irene very much and have tried to keep quiet as to my thoughts about her being mia but have done so a. because i don't know her as well as veteran members do and b. out of respect for her decision. however i think of her often and her kind thoughts and support helped me through a very difficult rough patch in my life this past summer and she's very dear to me because of that. with that said, i too hope she'll one day return as i've lost some of my enthusiam for the boards since.

I love spicy foods too. My grandpa eats jalapenos with almost everything. So I decided to carry on that tradition. I have a fresh jar of jalapenos. Yumm. I added some to my potatoe & egg taquito this morning. :D

To be clear, Irene hasn't been suspended or banned. She's not here by her own choice. I'm sure her friends know how to contact her, so I'm locking this thread. Remember, there are two sides to every story. I'm not going to have Irene made out to be a saint, when I know for a fact that she was recently trashing me, my site and many of my members, at another website. She's welcome to come back here, if she wants, but she was not mistreated. This thread is not going to go on forever. Enough is enough.
