View Full Version : Wally Hughsgirl 09-25-2008, 10:54 AM I know that I can't be the only one to think this, in fact, I know I'm not. This guy Wally is really annoying! His voice and that horrible laugh. :eek: I cringe each time I hear his voice! UGH! A friend of mine told me that Ozzie often used real family and friends on the show. Does anyone know if this putz was a real family friend? honeybea 09-25-2008, 10:59 AM From the last bio book I read, Skip Young, (Wally) was a real friend of the family, was a room mate of David's until he married. Ozzie also used some ideas of Skip's in the show. I always liked Wally. Clara was the one with the annoying whine that I didn't like. I never cared much for Joe either, he was too much of a moocher. They all were very different in nature, temperment and characteristics. Be it Wally, Clara, Joe, Thorny, Darb, or Doc the writers and actors made them all unique, different and memorable characters.
