Actor Patrick Dempsey has vowed to continue in his role on hit TV show Grey's Anatomy as long as he is given good storylines.
The star - who plays Dr. Derek Shepherd in the popular medical drama - has been dogged by rumors he will quit the show to concentrate on his budding movie career. However Dempsey insists he will only walk if his character gets left out of the juicy plotlines.
He says, "Well, I have a contract for two more years. That's a long time; we'll see what happens with the show. The show has been very good to me. I hope the storylines continue. I need good story lines and that's what will keep me or not keep me."
