Now I'm only 22... but Cheers has become one of the biggest parts of my life. If you look through the forum, you will see I even got the logo tattooed on me... I just ****in' love the show, the characters, everything about Cheers to bits.

My way of seeing the show? DVD.

So that means I haven't even seen the final episode yet, or any of the final season.

I've had to import the DVDs from the US since Season 7, because in Australia they have only released up to Season 6.

I'm trying to keep it going as long as I possibly can (and it's hard) by not just sitting down and watching all the episodes one after the other... and I'm up to the last episode/s (part 1 + 2) of Season 10.

The episode I just finished had a scene with Sam and Woody on the roof and Sam talking about being lonely, thinking he was in love with Diane at one stage, etc... and it got me hell ****in' nostalgic.

Now, I've watched all the other episodes countless times over, but it just dawned on me... after this season there is only 1 left. One more season.

I'm crushed right now! Most of you I am guessing have already been through it when it was originally on TV, and I'm sure that it was harder for you having 11 years of Cheers as part of you whereas mine has been condensed into the last 3 years... but this has really hit me.

I have no idea what happens in Season 11, or the finale or anything and I'm **** scared of it ending. I don't want it to. I mean.. it was always like "oh, the next season will surely come out soon"... but after this.. it won't.

What should I do? Should I try and turn it into an actual 'season' ? As in, watch one episode per week? That would be way hard to do, but I'm really considering it. Try and stretch it out as long as possible.

I know Season 11 hasn't even been ANNOUNCED yet, but I've gotta start my planning now!

Just had to get this off my chest.

Cheers ends when Diane comes back to see Sam but they weren't meant for each other meanwhile Rebecca get married to a plumber.

Then Carla wakes up & realizes that the entire Cheers series was just a dream,
& that in reality, her name is Zena Sherman & is involved in an on & off relationship with a taxi dispatcher, Louie DePalmer (who recieves a large applause from the studio audience when he rolls over from under the blankets to reveal himself).

Truly an historic moment in television.

Cheers didn't really end, at least not until frasier ended. The cheers characters kept coming back on his show for guest appearances.

I feel your pain Lance, I loved Cheers and knew id miss it terribly, so far, no new American sitcom has even come close to its level of quality.....At the moment, the best sitcom SINCE Cheers, the Canadian series Corner Gas is in IT'S final season, and, I'm not looking forward to it ending, so, once again, I feel your pain!
