9:00 p.m. Two and a Half Men – 9.1/13, Viewers: 14.93 million (#2), A18-49: 5.3/12 (#1t)
9:30 p.m. Worst Week – 6.8/10, Viewers: 11.04 million (#2), 18-49: 3.8/ 9 (#3)

-- Worst Week was not off to good start. Rules of Enagements opened last year much higher (Viewers: 12.23 million; A18-49: 4.5/10 on Sept. 24, 2007). But if WW can hold these each week, it won't be that bad. If it drops, then it will. Surprised Two and a Half Men did high as it did, as last year it couldn't do 13 million even against Dancing. I was predicting a bit over 12 million for it, and WW at 10 million. But since Men did close to 15, WW really needed to do 13 million to be a success.

Elsewhere, Dancing with the Stars dominated the night for ABC! 13.4/20, 21.12 million viewers and a 5.3 rating/13 share among adults 18-49 from 8-10 p.m.
8:00 p.m. - Viewers: 20.11 million (#1), A18-49: 4.8/13 (#1)
8:30 p.m. - Viewers: 22.01 million (#1), A18-49: 5.5/14 (#1)
9:00 p.m. - Viewers: 21.26 million (#1), A18-49: 5.3/12 (#1t)
9:30 p.m. - Viewers: 21.10 million (#1), A18-49: 5.5/12 (#1)
Boston Legal at 10pm did not do that well, though (6.1/10, 9.41 million viewers and a 2.4/ 6 among adults 18-49).

Heroes completely was not good for NBC. The clip show at 8pm did bad (what did I tell you Super Bowl?) with just a 3.8/6, 5.96 million viewers and a 2.6/ 7 in 18-49, followed by the two-hour season premiere that only did a 5.9/9, 9.89 million viewers and a 4.9/12 among adults 18-49 from 9-11 p.m. Breakdown:
9:00 p.m. – Viewers: 10.15 million (#3), A18-49: 4.8/11 (#3)
9:30 p.m. – Viewers: 10.28 million (#3), A18-49: 5.0/11 (#2)
10:00 p.m. – Viewers: 9.61 million (#3), A18-49: 4.9/12 (#2)
10:30 p.m. – Viewers: 9.52 million (#2), A18-49: 4.8/12 (#2)
-Concerning drops in the half-hours.

Fox’s combination of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (3.7/6, Viewers: #4, 5.81 million; A18-49: #4, 2.2/ 6) and Prison Break (3.6/5, Viewers: #4, 5.93 million; A18-49: #4, 2.5/ 6) could not compete and were dead on arrivial. CW's dramas held up well.

Pavan, you were absolutely correct, and I was totally wrong, and I couldn't be happier about it. For those of you who don't know, Pavan thought it would do over 9 million viewers and I thought 8 million.

These ratings are absolutely terrific. BBT basically did the same ratings as last season's premiere, which was in the higher rated 8:30 time slot.

At 8:00 PM, BIG BANG THEORY (P) was second in households (5.7/09), viewers (9.36m), adults 25-54 (4.2/11) and adults 18-49 (3.6/10). This is BIG BANG's best first-run delivery at 8:00 PM in households and viewers, matches the best 8:00PM adults 18-49 delivery and is the second best 8:00 PM adults 25-54 performance.

the Big Bang premiere was great, but that Worst Week show was horrible - too predictable, and they even ripped off scenes from other shows (like when he was trying to tell a hard-of-hearing relative over the phone that someone was dead - a direct rip-off of an episode of Roseanne)

IDK, I liked WW. LOL, but thats me!

I loved the season premiere of 'Big Bang'. Definately one of the best episode thus far. And IDK if there any Two and a Half Men fans here, but does anyone else think the season premiere pretty much sucked? IDK, maybe handling 2 shows, Chuck has lost interest in 'Two and a Half' or something. Seasons 5 and 6 were pretty dull!

The HIMYM premiere was amazing!
