View Full Version : HOW BOUT THEM BUFFALO BILLS?
Big C 09-22-2008, 05:19 PM Bills are 3-0, playing very well, and are capable of dethroning the Pats.
A solid QB, stud RB, playmakers, and a defense that knows what to do.
Don't believe me?? Just ask littlebelle, whose Seahawks got stampeded.
FEAR THE BILLS!!
Wreckless 09-22-2008, 05:27 PM Bills are playing great in a tough division. They have a young core and a talented group of guys. Trent Edwards to Marshon Lynch is a nice combo. We'll see, it's only Week 3 now. But you should worry about the Saints, the Broncos got another iffy win under their belt. Some guy sent a email into ESPN saying if not for Ed Hercules LOL and Martin Gramatical, the Broncos would be 1-2.

Pardon my ignorance but dethroning them from what exactly?
Wreckless 09-22-2008, 06:08 PM
GARFIELDKOOL 09-22-2008, 07:07 PM They are looking good, I won't deny that, but they also have a soft schedule. I asked this one Bills fan today at work that wouldn't you rather win the division with a healthy Tom Brady? Because as of now they are in sole place the AFC East. So it is almost looking like they are winning it by default.
Mr. Television 09-22-2008, 07:23 PM Pardon my ignorance but dethroning them from what exactly?
from being champions of the AFC East. I forget how many straight years they have won that division.

Dethrone them from the top of the AFC East division which the Patriots have dominated the last several years.

Ok, I don't keep up with football all that much.

I need you to relax because the Bills were losing 23-14 to the Raiders in the 4th qtr so I'm not sold on the Bills yet
Wreckless 09-23-2008, 08:48 AM FSU, just don't switch over to the Bills if they keep winning/NO loses

BANDWAGON??
I was born and raised in Buffalo! (My family moved to Wisconsin in July 1994)
The Bills have always been my primary team.
New Orleans has always been my favorite NFC team and second-favorite team overall.
I lived through all four Buffalo Super Bowl losses, so I know something about staying with a team through high times and hard times.
When Kelly and Thomas and all the great players retired, I didn't jump off the bandwagon even when they REALLY stunk.
Wreckless 09-23-2008, 03:35 PM For me it has nothing to do with that, I know you lived in Buffalo and loved it. I'm saying, don't switch from one team to another, when the one is losing and the other starts winning, that's all. I'm not saying you are doing that now, you can like the Bills and be proud of them, they are doing a great job, but a lot of people become victims to that kind of thing.

and that's fine too. Back in the late 70's and early 80's my favorite AFC team and my second favorite team was the Houston Oilers so I understand having 2 teams. The Cowboys were always my primary team and if the 2 teams played I would always root for the Cowboys. I don't think I could ever do that if they were in the same conference though. I hate most of the NFC teams as it is.
browneyes106 09-24-2008, 01:24 AM The Bills have been doing good so far they did almost lose to the Raiders they have great chances of making the playoffs.
