I used to watch this show a lot, and I've even stayed in the hotel that they use for the opening credits!. It's in LA and it is (or was) called The Bonaventure. Something like that. It's a really nice hotel from what I remember. I found the link in case you are interested. It's run by Westin Hotels. I wouldn't mind staying there again sometime.
