I have a couple just off the top of my head..

In Noel Cowards (Arthur buys Doug&Carrie a tiny car) they are driving in their new tiny car on the freeway and you can see someone coming up from behind them with their windshield wipers on high. Doug didn't have his on and it wasn't raining.

Another one from the 1st season is Spence is laying in the back of Dough & Carrie's car and asks Doug if the M&Ms he finds on the floor are still good. Doug asks if they are plain or peanut and he says peanut. Doug gives Deacon a look like they are old and Spence then says these taste funny. Well later in the season during Fixer Upper and later episodes (Spence babysitting Kirby) we find that Spence is allergic to peanuts and got really sick from eating them.
