Saturday, September 20, 2008 - Sex & The City actor Joe Petcka faces a two-year jail spell after allegedly beating his girlfriend's pet cat to death.
The actor, who played Sean Sullivan in the TV series, has been charged with aggravated cruelty to animals after allegedly attacking girlfriend Lisa Altobelli's cat during a drunken fight on Thursday (18Sep08).
But Petcka's lawyer tells the New York Post his client was the victim, stating, "The cat bit him, then any injuries to the cat were in response to being bit."
