I just picked up my copy of the 5th season DVD box set of I Dream Of Jeannie and am thrilled to finally have the whole series-this season being my favorite. I haven't watched any episodes yet but upon opening up the package I have a question I hope someone can answer for me. Who is the woman featured on the inside cover of the 3rd & 4th disc behind where the 4th disc rests (she has long dark hair and a rainbow colored psychedelic dress). Who is she and why is she being featured? I am guessing she must have been in one of the episodes but she is not one of the regulars, so why is her picture there? Anyone? Would much rather have seen another one of Jeannie either in her long blonde civilian hairdo she wore that year out of costume in normal dress (she was a knock-out this season with that longer do) or maybe one of her sister. But instead there is this unknown woman.
Am I missing something?

That's Bonnie Crenshaw, from the episode where Bonnie sends a letter to Tony saying she's coming to visit. Bonnie's an old girlfriend of Tony's.

I'm guessing that they used this one for several reasons, including symbolism (one of many sources of Jeannie's jealousies) and to remind us that this show was a late-60s/early 70s production.

I too would have preferred one of the major players in that picture zone, but after a glance or two at them anyway, they just get filed away in the box.

Thanks for the info Donna. It's been some time since I watched the 5th season episodes on tv so my memories not the greatest. I'm only 4 episodes into the set but thoroughly enjoying them. Season 5 was my favorite so I am thrilled to finally have this season complete and uncut! Take care.
