I have the DVD of this and Cindy Williams is interviewed on it. She said that she filmed this before she did Laverne & Shirley; but The First Nudie Musical was set to be released just as the sitcom was catching on.
The studios were hesitant and fighting over the release of this movie but under contract it had to be released. Cindy never really got any backlash from working on this movie, right?
