As I click on "Current Sitcoms" I am given 43 possible shows to click on and discuss. Unfortunately, 41 of the 43 are not worth a crap. Anyone else disappointed in the shows that are "popular" these days? Whatever happened to quality entertainment?

The only sitcom I even watch regularly is My Name is Earl. I loved BTY last year but that sitcom died. I'm going to give Worst Week a try but other than that..yea sitcoms seem to be dead.

It is a pretty sad state of affairs. I don't watch any of those shows.

The only ones I might catch once in a while is The Office and Scrubs (which is on again at some point I believe).

I liked Entourage (HBO) when I watched the DVDs, but I don't have HBO.
I'd like to check out Weeds, though I don't have Showtime and in general would have probably found it more amusing when I was in my 20s.

Then again, to be honest, my 20s would have made a better sitcom than pretty much most of the stuff out there.

Yeah, sitcoms nowadays are pathetic. Just looking at some of the more "popular" sitcoms out there today, it's just sad compared to sitcoms just 10-15 years ago. Unfortunately, the sitcom genre is slowly dying out in favor of more reality and cheap dramas.

I thought "Worst Week" was NBCs (or any stations) new sitcom fall line up :(

There were a lot of terrific sitcoms in the 70's & 80's, some good ones in the 90's, but only a few in the 2000's.. And the fall line-up of sitcoms (both returning shows and new) looks bleak..

I agree. The only current show that I watch is "Cold Case" and that's not a sitcom.

I hope Gary Unmarried is good and I'll also try out Worst Week.

Besides the already great CBS Monday line-up from 8-930, I may check out Worst Week and Gary Unmarried. Both look very promising.

The sudden changes of 'Til Death are making me wanna dump the show!

I find TV in general these days to be sorely lacking. I can't stand the reality shows, crime shows, and dramas and the stuff that passes for comedy just does not appeal to me. The only three current shows I watch are The Simpsons, Scrubs, and American Idol.

The best sitcom in the last 5 years has been Corner Gas, when it ends (next Spring), it may prove to be the LAST new sitcom that I ever watch!

I thought Worst Week was another word for NBC's primetime lineup

I thought it was The Biggest Loser.

Both fit the title very well. Their Thursday night comedies alone could be named "The Biggest Loser: We're not talking about the show"
