The last concert I was at was the Lorrie Morgan/ Tracy Bryd concert at our statefair. It was great not just because it was free but I thought they did a great job. Lorrie Morgan she was my favorite, she puts on a great show, she really got the crowd going. Here are a few pictures from that concert

I think I would go to a Lorrie Morgan concert just to look at her.
She's hot!!!!!!!!:happyface :happyface :happyface

The last concert I went to was Marty Stuart in Battle Creek, Michigan in the fall of 2003.

Concert ticket prices have gotten so ridiculously expensive, I dont think I will be going to a major show anytime soon. Its cheaper to see music at bars or clubs.

A little funny story...
My ex girlfriend lived right behind Lorrie Morgan, and of course there was a fence and woods that separated their houses. Anyways my ex g/f's father use to sneak back in the woods with a pair of binoculars and watch Lorrie as she lounged in her backyard at the pool.

I got to meet Joan Jett in 1992 at Extreme's meet & greet. Very, very nice lady. She was playing in town the next night, asked us if we were still going to be in town(we were out of town), and we were flying out the next morning. She said if we were still going to be in town, she was going to put us on her guest list!!

So far this year I have attended 7 shows, and the last concert I saw was Frankie Avalon (it was free and outdoors)

My next concert is Foreigner with Whitesnake and Jason Bonham, then in August, I am seeing Ace Frehley (of KISS) and towards the end of the same month, Rod Stewart with Cyndi Lauper.

My last concert was on July 31st. I had a terrible headache, the traffic was horrendous (took me nearly two hours to drive 34 miles) but Foreigner never disappoints, and Whitesnake was excellent as well (even though David Coverdale's voice is shot!) So worth attending even though I did not feel well, and aggravated by the traffic situation.

My next concert is Ace Frehley and his solo band; luckily Ace is performing locally (only a few miles from my home) so I do not have to worry about dealing with terrible Southern California traffic.

Ace Frehley ROCKED; he put on an incredible performance, playing his solo material as well as hits from KISS. It was nice to see a concert nearby my home (the venue was only a few miles from my house). I usually have to drive all the way down south to San Diego or up north (near Los Angeles or Orange County) to check out a band that I want to see.

Next concert- Rod Stewart with Cyndi Lauper opening :)

August 26th: Rod Stewart with Cyndi Lauper opening. One of the best concerts I have seen this year, both performers were outstanding and put on one heck of a show. I even got out of my chair and danced, something I have not done in a very long time.

I had a blast :)

^^^ I wanted to give him a hug, but I am so much older than him and I am so much of a shy person too that I still can't believe how much I was actually able to say to him at all. Right here is a clip of the Q&A part of his VIP gathering. I am the one who helps him out when asked what his favorite food is. I am also the one who suggests a peach when he is asked what fruit he would be if he could be a fruit instead of a person and no that was not one of my questions for him. The person who wanted to know what unusual things have been brought to him for signing was me and then at the end of the clip I asked him who comes up with the concepts for his videos. :) :) :)
