View Full Version : Something I Want To Clear Up
LuLu Rogers 09-18-2008, 07:01 PM It's been brought to my attention that a few people here think I've been lying about my health problems and joining the Army. I have to say, people who think that must be pretty sick. I'll be more than happy to post a copy of my medical records if I need to and no, I haven't signed the paperwork to join the Army because I have to lose 20 pounds first, then I can officially sign up, I thought I mentioned that before, I guess not. As far as my Fibro preventing me from joining the Army, yes, it might, but I have to try and see if I can do the things they expect of me, if I can't, then I won't join. Lying about an illness this serious just to get attention...wow
Anyone who believes that I've lied about these things isn't worth my time. If they want to act that way, like 2 year olds, fine, that's their business, but I have 4 words for them: Karma Is A BITCH ;)
I appreciate my friends here who stick by me:
Tara, Janice, Kelly, Brian, Mike, Cathy, Max, Brad, Treky, Allison, Ashlee and a few others. I greatly appreciate your support and the fact that you took the time to get to know the real me, it means a lot. :bighug:
Chocoholic 09-18-2008, 07:22 PM I never doubted that you were lying about your health problems or anything. Some people have nothing better to do than to pick on others. Focus on us here who love you :D
Courtnee 09-18-2008, 07:34 PM Who would say that?
Wreckless 09-18-2008, 08:03 PM Consider me a friend sir. I believe what you say and I think it takes a lot of guts to stand up to ignorant poeple, let alone join and serve your country. I have loads of respect for people like you who can stand tall and do things that are hard for most people, including me, to do or to have guts to do. Don't let people's bad thoughts put you down or make you feel you are any less of a person, when you are not.
*Pleasant Tomorrow* 09-18-2008, 09:09 PM Meh, that's stupid of them to say. But don't let what they think bother you. If you need to talk, let me know.
Hollow 09-18-2008, 09:17 PM is this more off-the-board stuff? i wish i knew where all of this goes on so i wouldn't be so so confused when i read threads about it here.
robyrob 09-18-2008, 09:19 PM hang in there man, you don't need to worry about anyone but YOU.

Nighthawk76 09-18-2008, 10:07 PM Hang in there, Lauren. :)

I'm not a Sir, but I appreciate it just the same
Thanks you guys, I really do love you all :bighug:
Janice 09-18-2008, 10:40 PM I didn't know about the Army, or I knew and forgot. I know for a fact that you have Fibro. Nobody would know the symptoms as well as you do, unless they were living the hell known as Fibro. Keep your chin up, Lauren. You know that stress makes Fibro worse, so keep your emotions in check, and try your best not to stress out.

I'm tryin, somebody needs to beat me over the head I think  I'm usually not the type to get stressed, but over the past few months I've really let things get to me, I really need to work on that.

Ditto:confused:
Ags2000 09-19-2008, 12:48 AM Don't worry about what other people think. It's enough that you know the truth. Some people just like to try ti be investigators and prove others are lying because I guess they have nothing better to do. As Janice said, don't stress out. Ignore the idiots and get better. You'd be surprised what the Army will except as long as you pass the tests. Keep your chin up.
D
Max Whittaker 09-19-2008, 02:31 AM You don't need to prove anything to anyone. It's none of their business and it's none of your concern what they think.
I didn't know you were thinking about doing the army. Good luck!
treky 09-19-2008, 02:38 AM Lauren sweetie, just don't pay any attention to the people who think you're lying. I know you most definetaly are NOT! And anyone who thinks you are; well; they can just go *********
Just ignore them and concentrate on all the people on here who love you!:bighug:
