and will rush the hell out of Matt Cassel-lol I guess Joey Porter forgot the Dolphins have no offense so maybe he means the Defense will score all the points-lol

Yeah, true.

There might be teams out there that have a shot at making Cassel implode...but I'll guarantee the Dolphins aren't one of them!

I don't know if this will happen, but I can see the Pats using this game to give Cassel some additional confidence, which he'll need later in the season.

Porter has always been full of it.
But to be honest, Cassel is doing good.
Though he is no Brady, think that the Pats will lose a game or two and still be in the playoffs.

There's a chance that they might lose more than a game or two..but I would definitely not bet against them making the playoffs... even winning the division. Their schedule last year was actually kind of brutal, even though they went 16-0. That had to beat Dallas, Indy, the Giants and San Diego on the road, and beat Pittsburgh as well.

This year, they have some "easy" games against the AFC and NFC West divisions.

They do have a couple of tough games though... they'll be 3-0 after this weekend playing Miami...

The San Diego game will be tough, at San Diego... Denver will be tough. The Colts will be tough in the dome, but the way they're playing, the Pats have a decent chance at an upset there. Pittsburgh will be tough

Some teams will certainly think they have a shot at beating the Patriots without Brady... With Brady healthy, they'd go 16-0 again this year...

The thing is, they'll HAVE to win the games they're supposed to win...and it would help if they don't have any more major injuries.

But I can still see them having an excellent record this year... there are a LOT of guys on that team that know how to win football games.

I have to say, I am shocked thus far! When Porter was with the Steelers, he would shoot his big mouth off from time to time, and the team would always back him up. Maybe Miami is doing the samething.

Miami's up 21-6 at halftime, and playing quite well. Three TD's by Ronnie Brown. Nice to see him back after getting hurt last season.

Like I said, I thought the Pats would win this one (they still might)... but it's clear that other teams are not going to be afraid of them this time around... if the Pats are going to win the division (which i still think they can) they're going to have to win the games they're supposed to win...like today's game.

I guess the Patriots took the Miami Dolphins easy and probably looked past them.

What happened today: Ronnie Brown is an offensive beast. 4 Rushing TDs and THREW for another - as Miami's HB. New England just wasn't prepared for a Running back to all but double-up as a quarterback.

Screw the Pats- they deserved to get their butts whooped lol. Matt Cassell is too inexperienced for that team.

With Ronnie Brown having a HUGE day and Jason Campbell playing efficiently, those 2004 Auburn guys are looking fine.

Too bad Cadillac Williams is always hurt.

Well cant say NO BRADY was the reason for this loss since the defense gave up 38 points-lol

I don't know...the Pats with Brady could have outscored them...and with Brady out there, the defense wouldn't have had to work as hard as they did...or tried to :) At least, the defense wouldn't have been out on the field for as long as they were (TOP was 33-27 Miami)

Miami played inspired football today... there's really no excuse not to play like that every week.

I'm really glad I took Brown late in my fantasy draft.

.....but pissed off that I left him on the bench.

If I had him, I don't think I would have played him today either...

I had Brown last year, and he was the top RB in our league before he got hurt halfway through the year. I also had Brady, which made a great 1-2 punch while it lasted.

How bad can they be if they blew out the pats? And Joey Porter had 2 sacks and backed up what he said earlier this week
