Let's say I have something on DVD that I want to put on my computer. How do I do that? Or better yet, what kind of software do I need to do it?

So then I want to take that video and upload it to the internet (not youtube though). Same questions apply. All I want to do is host it somewhere so that some people in a group I'm in can see some shows I have. I don't want to share with the whole world like on youtube.

So if anyone can give me some tips, or knows of a website where I can get tips, let me know. Thanks!
