First of all before I say anything I just want to make it clear that I'm not a fan of Britney Spears music. I say that so that nobody thinks I've become some bandwagon fan or something. I have however felt sorry for her, and felt a strong connection with her over some struggles she's been dealing with for awhile. Partly because her and I are only a few months apart in age, and also because while Britney was going through her psychological troubles, I was also going through a few of my own. Britney seems to be getting better though, and I have been working on getting myself better too. For those reasons and others, I feel like I have somewhat of a connection with her. A couple weeks ago I heard a song written by an artist named Bebo Norman simply titled "Britney". By the end of the song I was in tears, and I vowed to share the song with everyone I know, as well as try with all my heart to make myself better, and so I wanted to share it with everyone here. I know that this song won't change everyone's feelings about her, but the bottom line is, it's a beautiful and touching song, and I want to share it. I just hope some of you will take 4 minutes to check it out. If the first link doesn't work just try the second. Thanks for reading!!

It's very touching. I do not mock Britney because it is obvious that she has some personal demons. I wish her nothing but the best for her future...the same for you Brad. :)

it's good to see that she has support. i get tired of people judging her and calling her a "schizo" and whatnot.

The paparazzi would drive anyone to insanity. The way those leeches follow her around...ugh!

That is very touching. I agree with you. I don't know why everyone's always on her case. It's obvious that she needs help and I hope she gets it. I wish her luck. :)

That's a heartwarming tribute. Thanks for posting, Brad. I've always rooted for Britney. I've never taken pleasure in another person's pain. She has two little boys who want their mother's love. I think she'll be okay. She looks better than she has in years. She suffered a breakdown, at least. So many people in our society like to build people up, only to knock them down again. Craig Ferguson said it well here, last year. It's worth a listen.

Why then has Monika constantly put her down? Monika seems to enjoy
making fun of just about every female celebrity out there. Since Monika
herself is a woman, I really don't understand such an attitude.

Exactly. Brad that was a beautiful tribute. I hope Brittany puts out a greatest hits CD, because I love some of her songs. I haven't heard them all, but the main ones they play on the radio are great. I also happen to think that she's extremely pretty.

I do feel sorry for her. Actually for anyone who has to deal with the paparazzi. Whenever I think of what life might be like if I were famous (or even well-known), I'm always grateful that I'm not. Once people know who you are, your every move is documented whether you want it to be or not.

Look at what happened to Princess Diana. I'm not saying that the paparazzi was completely to blame, but years after her death, she's still a tabloid spectacle.

Great job with the video, Brad. Was that song written about Brittany? Because it really does fit.

Thanks so much for checking it out everyone. I'm so glad to see that it touched you all as much as it did me. I just thought it was so refreshing to finally hear someone in the public eye, not just stand up for Britney, But dedicate a beautiful and encouraging song to her. Once again, I'm glad you all enjoyed it, and I thank you for checking it out!! :)

To Schmoopie, Yes, the artist did write the song for Britney spears. It was written and sung by a Christian artist named Bebo Norman. I've been a fan of his for a few years ever since he did a cover of the Late Rich Mullins song Sometimes by Step, and I'm an even bigger fan now. He has a myspace page, and seems to have a close relationship with many of his fans. Seems like a great guy!

Billboard.com reviews Norman's new album

Bebo Norman has built a reputation as one of the Christian community's most insightful singer/songwriters, one likely to increase with this self-titled effort. The single "Pull Me Out" is a compelling anthem about surrendering to God and trusting him completely. "Britney" is a letter to Britney Spears, a sympathetic message to the burnished pop star that is really an indictment against society and how our culture treats young women. Elsewhere, "Not Living in the In-Between" has an earthy appeal and inviting singalong quality, while "Ruins" is a cinematic, poignant ballad. This collection marks Norman's debut for Seattle-based BEC Recordings, and it feels like the beginning of a vibrant new chapter in an already distinguished career. —Deborah Evans Price

that's a good post. I have liked a few of her songs here and there but have never considered myself a fan of Brit Brit. But regardless, I am glad she seems to finally be overcoming her demons and everything that went wrong last year. I do think the fact that the paparazzi has learned to lay off her a bit has helped as well... how could she get better when she had 80 screaming bullies with cameras provoking her?

Yeah, I've noticed the paparazzi laying off a bit as well, and am so happy to see it. Not sure of their motives, but regardless, she desperately needs some space as well as some positivity thrown her way, and it's really good to see. I TRULY wish the very best for her!!

I think the paparazzi truly went too far when they followed Britney into a restroom last year. I noticed that after that happened was when Paparazzi laws started going into effect and they started backing off big time on Britney. I know that she sells magazines but when someone isn't even allowed to go to the restroom without worrying that someone from Star or TMZ is going to snap a photo of you doing your business is just too much.

I think we're all guilty if we've ever looked at TMZ or gossipped about a celebrity, but I do think there's a vast difference between taking pictures of someone at a movie premiere and when dozens of photographers follow Britney into a restroom.
