View Full Version : Vikings need to get rid of The Coach or the QB,
TVFactFan 09-14-2008, 03:39 PM It makes no sense that as good as this team's defense is and RB, That they continue to have IDIOT for a coach and a Bad QB. They are about to blow a wonderful opportunity to beat the Colts because of
Childress's Playcalling
Jackson's Innacuracy
Now the Game is tied at 15-15 aftr a missed FG by the Vikes when the score was 18-7. If they Vikes lose pin it on the coach and QB
TVFactFan 09-14-2008, 03:46 PM Another example of bad play calling by Brad Childress
The game is tied at 15-15 and the Vikings had a 3rd and 6 and he calls a play for Jackson to throw a 50 yad pass instead of getting the first down??
TVFactFan 09-14-2008, 03:58 PM Vikes have the ball on the 1yd line with 1:49 left in the game and on 1st and 10 this A$$hole calls a RUNNING PLAY????
Mr. Television 09-14-2008, 04:14 PM The announcers kept saying that the fans were stupid for booing when the Vikes kept going for FGs. They're the stupid ones. I'd boo too. It looks like the fans were right since they loss.
Big C 09-14-2008, 04:16 PM So... who's available as a free agent QB in 2009?

They need to Boo the coach, a complete IDIOT. You mean to tell me he couldn't go for it atleast once

That's what I was thinking. Apparently Dierdorf doesn't understand that that's the kind of crap us Viking fans are putting up with on a regular basis. Decent drives that CONSTANTLY fizzle out before they can get into the redzone.

I can't believe that Childress didn't want to go for it atleast once-lol I mean damm, try and SNATCH VICTORY from the JAWS of Defeat for once in his coaching life.
Who is the Vikings Backup QB?

Who is the Vikings Backup QB?
Gus Frerotte and John David Booty being the 3rd stringer.

The Vikings should have at least had a 21-0 lead. They completely dominated that game for almost 3 quarters. You can't go down and depend on FG's all the time especially when you're playing a QB like Peyton Manning. That one lucky throw got them back in the game. After that the Colts just took the game over.. After they tied it up I knew the Colts were going to win.

What was Peyton Manning yelling at Addai for?-lol
He always seems to turn on his players when things are not going the way he wants him to
TVFactFan 09-14-2008, 05:50 PM Gus Frerotte and John David Booty being the 3rd stringer.
Gus Ferotte is still in the league??

He was really frustrated today. I was thinking Damn...the Colts are going to be 0-2. Could this be the end of the great Colt teams? They have so many injuries ..they just didn't look like they used too. And then at the end of the 3rd the sleeping giant came alive. lol

It's no way the Colts can walk away from that win feeling good about themselves
Mr. Television 09-14-2008, 06:00 PM It's no way the Colts can walk away from that win feeling good about themselves
No because if the Vikings would have had any type of a passing game they would have won.
TVFactFan 09-14-2008, 06:05 PM No because if the Vikings would have had any type of a passing game they would have won.
I know,it's like the coach wanted to make sure he didn't cost them the game so he didn't have a lot of long pass plays-lol Bill Belechick is doing the same thing with Matt Cassel today
Brian Damage 09-14-2008, 07:50 PM This just proves two things for me...
1. Tavaris Jackson sucks!
2. Peyton Manning is that damn good.
Wreckless 09-14-2008, 08:25 PM True BD, Peyton wasn't that good today though lol. On third down, towards the end of the game he made the pass but he didn't look at all like the Peyton Manning we all know and think is great. He looked a couple steps behind. And I like Peyton too, but he looked bad today. Indy still won but that's nothing if Minn is kicking field goals all day lol. What is this, high school football their playing? Get a QB Minn. GM.
TVFactFan 09-14-2008, 08:41 PM Brad Childress needs to be working in the post office, he stinks as a coach
Wreckless 09-14-2008, 08:44 PM LOL..ah I like Brad but he needs to direct this team in the RIGHT direction. A talented team and they are 0-2, what?
Wreckless 09-14-2008, 08:45 PM Edit: I think he'll have more wins then Ravens coach, John Harbaugh. If that counts for anything lol.
TVFactFan 09-14-2008, 08:55 PM Childress needs tp spend the night oer Mike Shanahan's house for a couple of days so he can see how to be a NFL coach
GARFIELDKOOL 09-14-2008, 09:00 PM Tavaris Jackson may not be the answer, they should not have to depend on Adrian Peterson the way they do. Asking him to give you 200 plus yards is way too much.
Wreckless 09-14-2008, 09:01 PM Yeah, spending time with Shanahan would do him good.
TVFactFan 09-14-2008, 09:02 PM Tavaris Jackson may not be the answer, they should not have to depend on Adrian Peterson the way they do. Asking him to give you 200 plus yards is way too much.
A lot of GM's probably think "You can't go wrong when you draft a black QB"
LOL
GARFIELDKOOL 09-14-2008, 09:07 PM A lot of GM's probably think "You can't go wrong when you draft a black QB"
LOL
I know, and that's not right. Jason Campbell took a lot of heat for not being decisive in week 1, but he won back a lot of fans in today's game. They think black QBs can't think properly.

I need GM's to start understanding just because you are black that doesn't mean you can play-lol Kind of like what Rush said 5 years ago-lol
Wreckless 09-14-2008, 09:24 PM about McNabb you mean right? lol.
TVFactFan 09-14-2008, 09:36 PM about McNabb you mean right? lol.
No I'm talking about black QB's period. The media sometimes try to make a Black QB better than he really is like...............
Michael Vick
Vince Young
Mcnabb is a SUPERSTAR and a Future Hall of Famer. But you will still have those moments when the Media will hype up a QB just because he is black.
Wreckless 09-14-2008, 09:38 PM Yeah, I was just thinking of Vick too, I forgot about goofy Vince lol. The media will be all over Vick after being a black QB to them, which is to me, no big deal the color of their skin, after his dogfighting incident. That is, if he is still recognized in a year or two lol.
