View Full Version : Chris Berman-"Pats can still make SB without Tom Brady" TVFactFan 09-14-2008, 01:05 PM LOL, I'm going to say they can win the AFC EAST but saying they can win the SB is a bit overboard. what do you think? Wreckless 09-14-2008, 01:58 PM Yeah I don't think they're going to the superbowl. I think it's going to be the steelers vs. either the cowboys or eagles. A lot of times have star injuries this year or their team doesn't have enough to win it. But we'll see, this is only Week 2 and i'm making inquiries lol. TVFactFan 09-14-2008, 02:03 PM Yeah I don't think they're going to the superbowl. I think it's going to be the steelers vs. either the cowboys or eagles. A lot of times have star injuries this year or their team doesn't have enough to win it. But we'll see, this is only Week 2 and i'm making inquiries lol. See you are talking stupid again, you are saying the eagles will be in the SB based on a week 1 win over the Rams? I'm watching the Rams right now play the Giants and they have no offense, no running game, no defense, and no coach and from the Eagles beating that team ypu say they will be in the SB? See that's not intelligent sports talk, you are talking with your HEART and not your mind Wreckless 09-14-2008, 02:06 PM I'm just giving my predictions. Wreckless 09-14-2008, 02:09 PM And nah, I'm not basing it solely off a weak Rams team. I think we were solid on all 3 sides of the ball, if it were any team that would be the opponent. You're right that it is Week 1- I said either Philly or Dallas, not just Philly. And it's only 10-3 Giants with 2 and a half in the second quarter. bandito 09-14-2008, 02:09 PM Anything can happen, but without Brady, I think Belechick & Co will be watching the Super Bowl on Tv this yr. Mr. Television 09-14-2008, 02:17 PM I don't know. It all depends on how Matt Cassell plays...nobody knows how good he is. The AFC seems to be upside down right now. I'm watching the Colts game and they look awful right now. It might be wide open over there. TVFactFan 09-14-2008, 02:20 PM And nah, I'm not basing it solely off a weak Rams team. And it's only 10-3 Giants with 2 and a half in the second quarter. Yeah I know the score but my point is you know what kind of Eagles team you will after until after this month is over. Next games, cowboys, steelers, and bears. TVFactFan 09-14-2008, 02:21 PM I don't know. It all depends on how Matt Cassell plays...nobody knows how good he is. Yeah the Colts look awful, but so does the vikings offense-lol All Fg's and 9-0 is nor how you beat the Colts=-lol Mr. Television 09-14-2008, 02:25 PM Yeah the Colts look awful, but so does the vikings offense-lol All Fg's and 9-0 is nor how you beat the Colts=-lol If the Vikings had a qb they would be a great team. They've been running up and down on the Colts all day. It really should be 21-0. lol TVFactFan 09-14-2008, 02:34 PM If the Vikings had a qb they would be a great team. They've been running up and down on the Colts all day. It really should be 21-0. lol If they don't go up 16-0, I don't think they will win Mr. Television 09-14-2008, 02:56 PM If they don't go up 16-0, I don't think they will win It's 15-0 right now. lol TVFactFan 09-14-2008, 03:03 PM It's 15-0 right now. lol That makes no damm sense-lol It must be the playcalling or if not that Jackson or BOTH-lol Mr. Television 09-14-2008, 03:12 PM That makes no damm sense-lol It must be the playcalling or if not that Jackson or BOTH-lol Well the Colts just scored a TD. 15-7. TVFactFan 09-14-2008, 03:16 PM Well the Colts just scored a TD. 15-7. Looks like it will be 15-15 since the vikings just turned the ball over-lol I'm sure the Colts will go for TWO if they get in Mr. Television 09-14-2008, 03:17 PM That makes no damm sense-lol It must be the playcalling or if not that Jackson or BOTH-lol Jackson just fumbled and the Colts are ready to score again. Unbelievable. The Viking totally dominated this game for almost 3 quarters and because they couldn't score TDs they might lose. TVFactFan 09-14-2008, 03:22 PM Jackson just fumbled and the Colts are ready to score again. Unbelievable. The Viking totally dominated this game for almost 3 quarters and because they couldn't score TDs they might lose. Vikes caught a break with that missed FG-lol The question is can they SCORE a DAMM TD?? Or will it be 18-7?-lol Mr. Television 09-14-2008, 03:36 PM Vikes caught a break with that missed FG-lol The question is can they SCORE a DAMM TD?? Or will it be 18-7?-lol The Vikings just missed a FG too. Mr. Television 09-14-2008, 03:40 PM Vikes caught a break with that missed FG-lol The question is can they SCORE a DAMM TD?? Or will it be 18-7?-lol Well the Vikings deserve to lose this game....15-15. TVFactFan 09-14-2008, 03:41 PM Well the Vikings deserve to lose this game....15-15. Yeah they may lose now, after being in control all day. Wreckless 09-14-2008, 08:30 PM Chris Berman is eating too much cake and ice cream lol. He needs to back back back back up his pick. Pats- great, complete team. But not as much without their MVP, best player and leader- Brady. And without one of the best quarterbacks in the league and all-time. TVFactFan 09-14-2008, 08:33 PM Chris Berman is eating too much cake and ice cream lol. He needs to back back back back up his pick. Pats- great, complete team. But not as much without their MVP, best player and leader- Brady. And without one of the best quarterbacks in the league and all-time. Matt Cassel plays too nervous, or maybe that was because this was his first start Wreckless 09-14-2008, 08:37 PM I saw bits and pieces of him today. When it was 16-10 I believe, and they were in touchdown range, he could of had Moss go for a fake then had him go to the right in the back for a TD. The one play he had a guy wide open in the endzone and the pass was tipped by the Jets lineback. Not thrown high enough. Another play, Moss ran straight down the left side and Moss had to stop to catch it cause Cassell doesn't have enough arm strength, compared to Brady to make those Randell Cunningham- Brady like throws lol. Moss still should of caught it but I thought "Moss should have a TD, oh no, it was under thrown, he had to stop and come back." Doesn't matter cause they still won but he's still learning- Cassell. Not a Pats fan but they played good enough today. TVFactFan 09-14-2008, 09:26 PM Everybody else played good, Cassel on the otherhand gets a C- from me Wreckless 09-14-2008, 09:29 PM I'll say a C. He looked better then Favre from what I saw- yeah I can't believe I'm saying this lol, but Favre looked eh. Actually no, him and Favre were about even, maybe Favre has a C+ and Cassell gets a solid C from me, even though he won the game lol. TVFactFan 09-14-2008, 09:52 PM I'll say a C. He looked better then Favre from what I saw- yeah I can't believe I'm saying this lol, but Favre looked eh. Actually no, him and Favre were about even, maybe Favre has a C+ and Cassell gets a solid C from me, even though he won the game lol. I will take away the minus since he didn't throw any interceptions. Wreckless 09-14-2008, 10:07 PM That's fair. If he only throws 5 yard passes each time lol, who the hell can throw a pick? Minnesota is in deep water. mriggles 09-14-2008, 10:54 PM LOL, I'm going to say they can win the AFC EAST but saying they can win the SB is a bit overboard. what do you think? my SB pick was dallas vs the steelers I made that pick before brady got hurt, I think the pats will make the playoffs, but without home field a trip to the superbowl may be a bit much to ask. Who knows what the hell will happen. THats why football is the best dam sport, no one knows what will happen from week to week TVFactFan 09-14-2008, 10:57 PM my SB pick was dallas vs the steelers I made that pick before brady got hurt, I think the pats will make the playoffs, but without home field a trip to the superbowl may be a bit much to ask. Who knows what the hell will happen. THats why football is the best dam sport, no one knows what will happen from week to week Cassel looked too nervous today. Nervous looking QB is unattractive-lol mriggles 09-14-2008, 11:16 PM Cassel looked too nervous today. Nervous looking QB is unattractive-lol well like you said in one of the threads...He was probably nervous... He won & thats the bottom line... A win is a win Brad Russ 09-15-2008, 03:49 AM I can see the Pats possibly winning one or two playoff games, but it's hard for me to fathom them going all the way, especially with all the tough teams out there. Of course, had you told me last year after the first two games that the Giants had last year, that they'd end up Superbowl Champions, I'd have laughed at you, so you just never know in the NFL. Wreckless 09-15-2008, 07:30 AM Yeah that's true. Giants didn't lose their best player on the team though lol. They just started out ok and finished great. Brad Russ 09-15-2008, 08:12 AM Yeah that's true. Giants didn't lose their best player on the team though lol. They just started out ok and finished great. Yeah, I can't argue with that. My point is just that anything can happen in the NFL. Like I said, it's unlikely, but I'm sure crazier things have happened, and will continue to happen in the future. Wreckless 09-15-2008, 05:52 PM Yeah that is true.. TVFactFan 09-15-2008, 08:52 PM The difference between the browns being 0-2 and Giants being 0-2 last year is that the Brownshave always been a losing franchise-lol So everyone expects them to keep losing Wreckless 09-15-2008, 10:30 PM The Giants probably lost to 2 good teams too. Wasn't one of their first 2 losses vs. Dallas too? I remember watching that game. I think it was the second game of the season the Giants lost, at Dallas on MNF or the Sunday Night Game. EricIdlefan 09-16-2008, 07:35 PM Matt Cassel is doing a good job. But not having Brad there, still hurts the team. It would really surprise me if they made it to the Super Bowl. Wreckless 09-16-2008, 11:46 PM You mean Tom there ^? Wreckless 09-16-2008, 11:47 PM Oh nevermind, you meant to say Brady. Yeah I agree. Brady is a vital part of their team and the team's success in the long run. littlebelle 09-17-2008, 03:39 PM Matt Cassel is doing a good job. But not having Brad there, still hurts the team. It would really surprise me if they made it to the Super Bowl. Not only is he doing a good job he's also very good looking ;) http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/5738/casselpatsho6.jpg (http://imageshack.us) Wreckless 09-17-2008, 04:40 PM He looks younger then me lol. He looks like he's 16-18 years of age, no doubt. littlebelle 09-17-2008, 07:30 PM Lol I know! He's 26 but he looks like he's my age. He's so cute. Wreckless 09-17-2008, 08:30 PM No comment there lol. littlebelle 09-18-2008, 12:44 AM Hah, and I'm glad there isn't ;) . |
