View Full Version : If a guy you met less than an hour ago says that he loves you, what would you do?
Janice Johnson 09-13-2008, 09:32 PM This question is based on one of my stories, but I think it would make an interesting topic........ You just met this guy less than an hour ago, yet he says, 'I love you..." What would you do? I know that I would RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Janice 09-13-2008, 09:35 PM Run for your life!

SBTB Geek 09-13-2008, 10:17 PM You live the most interesting life Janice.
coffield3 09-13-2008, 10:50 PM  Those words mean "I want to get you into bed!"
Nighthawk76 09-13-2008, 10:53 PM I would run for the hills and never look back.
Wreckless 09-13-2008, 10:58 PM I'd grab something to protect me with . Just kidding, well first off, for me it would have to be a girl that said that, and if she did, I would question her and her motives and tell her we haven't hung out yet and that we barely know each other.
Hollow 09-13-2008, 11:19 PM depends on how old he is. if he's 14/15, then come on...he's just naive. but nonetheless it would draw me away from him, whether i raced to conclusions about him or not.
catlover79 09-13-2008, 11:55 PM It depends. If it was mutual love at first sight, that's one thing. Otherwise, I'd be running screaming for the hills!!! :seeya:
InspectorExstead 09-14-2008, 02:29 AM i'd probably laugh & be really freaked out at the same time. lol.
Theda Bara 09-14-2008, 04:24 PM If I were to meet a man, and he told, after an hour, that he loved me. I would, definitely, question his intentions.
Mikado 09-14-2008, 04:26 PM If I were to meet a man, and he told, after an hour, that he loved me. I would, definitely, question his intentions.
Hey, ANY guy could fall for you in an hour, Tara. ;)

catlover79 09-14-2008, 10:41 PM Hey, ANY guy could fall for you in an hour, Tara. ;)
I concur - you're gorgeous, Tara!!!!!
Brad Russ 09-15-2008, 12:27 AM I'd agree with Mikado and CatLover79 Tara, but since you consider me to be more like a brother, It's better that I keep my real feelings in, and just keep my mouth shut. ;)
As far as what I would do if someone told me they loved me having only known me for a short period of time, I'd be very leary. I've had that experience a few times, and I've found that those people oftentimes turn out to be very clingy, and oftentimes have serious issues that I'm not prepared to deal with. Not saying that's always the situation, but that's how it's been for me. My advice to you, listen to your gut, and use caution.

MUAH...
I was in a simialr situation last weekend, though, the person, did not say, that they were in love with me. I did make the mistake of saying how sick I was of being single and how I would love to be married..HA HA HA. They dude, said, he would marry me..ICK!
Brad Russ 09-15-2008, 01:39 AM "wow, I am actually, blushing right now!":D
Good, I've missed making you blush. :)
Theda Bara 09-15-2008, 01:49 AM Good, I've missed making you blush. :)
Well, sweetie, it only takes someone, whom is really special (in my book) to make me blush; and you are definitely, one of those people..:D
Brad Russ 09-15-2008, 01:57 AM Aww thanks Tara. Now you got me blushing. :D
Theda Bara 09-15-2008, 02:04 AM Aww thanks Tara. Now you got me blushing. :D
Just, telling the truth, my friend:)
Janice Johnson 09-15-2008, 04:38 PM I'd probbaly be thinking that he was trying to get into my pants, or that he was a psychotic obsessive stalker..... neither of these is a good thing............... (the latter is what I'd mostly feel from him).....
Karen* 10-06-2008, 04:39 AM Roll my eyes and walk the eff away. :)
so elektrikkxx 10-06-2008, 04:58 PM I'd get in his face and act like I was about to kiss him and I'd be like, "My heart is in here" and point to my heart and then be like, "and yours is down here" and knee him in the balls. ;)
Okay, maybe not the kneeing part, but I'd say that.
MusicJunkie 10-06-2008, 05:16 PM that is really odd because it seems like that word scares men more than"you have cancer" and "I'm pregnant" yet he says it so loosely?
Janice Johnson 10-17-2008, 11:31 AM In my story, I wrote that the guy hasn't had a girlfriend in three years! I wonder why? He probably scared girls off with his attitude!
