She guest starred in episode 13 entitled "The Challenge". I've seen this episode a few times but have not seen it since discovering the George Lopez show. She played an old lady who was a tough mother to a mama's boy wrestler. I watched this episode on "hulu.com" last night and saw this woman who all the world reminded me of somebody with the way she moved and talked. :lol: :lol: :lol:

I did not know it was her at first because this woman was old and wore a old lady's wig and costume. I finally realized that this woman reminded me of the Benny character. LOL. The voice, the toughness and then when I saw her face, I was suprised. She was basically the same character but only older and in wig and costume. This was from 1985. All Benny fans that have not seen this episode, check it out at "hulu.com" and do a "What's Happening Now" search and go to episode 13 "The Challenge" or go buy the season one box set for the series.


Of course her real name is "Belita Moreno" but is credited as "Bolita Moreno" in the closing credits of WHN.

OMG! You are tight about that! I did not realize that was her! :lol: Now that you mentioned it, her name did appear in the credits. I remember one episode when a child character "Tess" was getting away with murder and she wrote on the back of Lydia's jacket that she was wearing "Tess was here". I thought that was hilarious. When I saw her on WHN, she was just another Benny Lopez to me with a wig. It was funny.

Yes she was thinner. Her skin was a lot lighter, too...I always thought she was a white woman.

She was on Golden Girls "The Operation". The episode where Dorthey has to have an operation on her foot and Rose/Blanche go on and dance without her. Belita played the nurse, she even wheels in Dorthey in a wheelchair.
