LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Comedian Jeff Foxworthy has signed on as host of the syndicated version of "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?"
Foxworthy also hosts Fox's primetime version. The syndicated version is targeted for a fall 2009 launch, and would be the second game show in as many years to leap from primetime to syndication and with the same host. NBC Universal this week launched a syndicated version of NBC's "Deal or No Deal," both hosted by Howie Mandel.
