there have been some not-so-good teams.

No offense, Giants fans, but I am never going to believe that last year's team was any good.

Player-wise, they were good. OTOH, I feel they were an extrodanarily lucky team.

The 1986 team and 1990 teams were worthy (Though I do feel the '90 Giants were an 8-8 team disguised as a 13-3 team), though.

When I think of great Super Bowl winning teams, I think of teams that defended their home turf- the Broncos, Rams, Patriots, etc- Big Blue was anything but great at home- they basically lived and died by their road record (They had only one good game at home last year- their sackfest of the Eagles).

I believe that last year, the G-String Men sold their souls to Satan to win the Super Bowl and were luckier than Notre Dame in its best years.

To me, they are nothing more than super FRAUDS!

(BTW, I hold nothing against their players- I just thought they were ridiculously lucky. I don't hate Eli or any of the players, but I hated ther luck,)

I would say the 1980 Oakland Raiders. They were the first Wild Card Team to win the Super Bowl beating the Philadelphia Eagles (who was favorite by 3) 27-10. I don't think nobody expected them to get to the Super Bowl, let alone win it.

I think the only team I hated worst than the Eagles back then was the Redskins. I like to thank Dan Snyder for making the Eagles my most hated rival now. :lol:

I'm going with Brees as well- I would take Cutler but he faces a great defense in San Diego. Besides that, I don't see any QB this week unless it's one of the MNF QBs that will man handle a weak team with a not bad d like Washington. Receiver, I say Randy Moss, Running Back, Westbrook.

Donavans always been one of my favorite Quarterbacks and If he can stay heathy, they have a great shot at winning the East this year, I really believe that.

Jets looked good- too bad they lost Nugent for a big chunk of the game, Pennington having a chance to win it at the end wouldn't of been nothing if they had a guy to kick in field goals. Instead, they had to go for it on 4th down and couldn't kick extra points and FGs lol, sucks. At least they picked up Jay Feeley right? Problem solved now lol. It's def. going to be interesting, the race for both East Divisions this year. NFC East, Eagles or Cowgirls could win it. AFC East with a much improved Jets team, not just because they aquired Favre, they got a lotta other guys in the off-season too. Not only that, but the big loss of Tom Brady. Losing the best player in the AFC East is big as far as who wins the division at the end of the year lol. But we'll see come December/January :).

It's hard to respect you as a sports fan when you make foolish statements like this. I know you are probably bothered by the giants winning the SB but you have to give credit when credit is due. No team wins the SB who is not good, they had to go on the road 3 times in the playoffs, tampa, dallas, and then greenbay, and then faced a 18-0 team and held them to 14 points. So I don;t want to hear any fraud talk because it makes no ssense. They earned the SB by playing as a team and it looks like they will again be back in the playoofs from what i saw in week one. So for you to say the 07 giants is the worst team to ever win a SB makes you lose credibility as a sports fan. You just come off as BITTER.

With a great NFC this year, I don't see them in the bunch. I say 7-9 or 8-8 for the Giants, YET I will not surprised if they are 9-7, they are still a good team.

You really are a class act. So what if I saw him on tape? I still saw the whole game. What would I be missing besides seeing him play live, if I still saw the whole 48 minutes of games he played in. The Giants did, in fact, deserve to win the Super Bowl last season, once they got there and played the game. But you're living in a fantasy world if you don't acknowledge that it took several miracle plays for them to win... I'm not even talking about the games leading up to the Super Bowl, I'm talking about the Super Bowl itself.

It was a miracle that Asante Samuel didn't intercept Eli Manning's poorly thrown pass on that last Giants drive.

It was a miracle that Eli Manning escaped from that sack to complete the pass to Tyree.

Tyree's catch was a miracle catch...no one's ever made a catch like that under those circumstances....I'm not sure anyone's made a catch like that under ANY circumstances...

Granted, Samuel didn't make the play, while Manning and Tyree did make the plays when it counted... but that was what was miraculous about it.
