How the hell did I miss this couple? Edit, they're not even a couple, they're married. I can't see her with somebody like him- he seems like the little kid next door that the teenaged girls like but not a older woman. I don't know, is there anybody else that can't picture these 2 together?

So far, they've lasted longer than Kenny Chesney and Renee Zellweger! They look more like a couple than she and Tommy Mottola ever did, imo.

There was a 21 year age difference between Mariah and her first husband, Tommy Mottola, and a 10 year age difference between Mariah and Nick Cannon. I think one reason for the controversy is that SHE is the older one in this relationship. If he was the older one, no one would say anything. Of course, that's MY opinion. :D :lol:

Yeah, just to me it doesn't seem like they would be a couple lol. Nick Cannon, I think of Nickeloden and Wild N Out and funny, kid shows and Mariah is all into the music and is an older woman. It's like he's dating his best friend's mother :lol:. She's not that old but to me it feels like it, with them two. But I hope they doin good.

I think Mariah looks amazing for someone, whom is 38. And, good for her, for marrying someone, whom is ten years younger. When you are in love, who cares how old the couple is, or what are they race, blah, blah. Love is blind:)

I think with Nick, people generally tend to think he's younger than he really is because of his Nickelodeon association. Even tho he's 27-28, a lot of people think he's only about 20 and that Mariah is really robbing the cradle, when he's older than you think.

Yeah that's pretty much how I looked it at. Except I know he's not 20, but it doesn't seem and feel like he's 27-29 ya know? Not only from the Nick Stuff, but it seems like he grew and got older fast. Along with the Wild N Out show, he seems like he's 24 and she's 37. That's what it seems like. So it's not Ashton and Demi, but just odd to me :lol:. But good for them, I hope they are doing well, Nick & Mariah.

I think a lot of the media bashing over this pair is race-based. Even though everyone knows Mariah is biracial, at the end of the day, she looks closer to Madonna than she does Whitney, so a lot of people still expected her to end up with a white man. If she had hooked up with Nick Lachey or Nick Zano, I doubt there'd be any of the media skepticism that Nick Cannon got.

And I am a white person who hates the race card, but I do think that the media seemed to want Mariah to end up with a white guy.

I never thought about it that way. If that's true that is sad.
