Good news for fans of the fabulous foursome: We seem to be one stiletto-heeled step closer to a Sex and the City movie follow-up. “When I finished [the first one], I didn’t have a thought in my head about a sequel,” says writer-director Michael Patrick King. But he says that all changed once the film, which earned $153 million domestically, screened worldwide. “It doesn’t feel done to me at all. It feels like it generated a whole new burst of enthusiasm for these characters. I thought if I could come up with a really fun, worthy story it would certainly be a great chance to do it again.” Still in the negotiation stage, King won’t divulge any scenarios for the film (“If I tipped my head right now, ideas would come pouring out”), but hints at a milieu. “It’s always nice to see the girls in the summer.”

loved the first movie, but is a second one really necessary? IMO, the movie served well as closure for the series, making up for the weak sixth season of the series

I personally wouldn't mind more, since I liked the show & movie, but having the 94 eps and the movie is enough for me. And since IMO the movie was lovely that would end things on a high note. So I guess I'm open to anything (just call me Samantha:lol:)

 Okay Samantha. I could take or leave another movie. I just watched the movie this weekend, and I really enjoyed it. I could have lived without the bird on Carrie's wedding veil, lol. Another installment would be cool, but it wouldn't bother me if it didn't happen.

And the less of Miranda the better. True to form ,she was b**tch* in the movie too (but I suppose you need her to balance out Charlotte whose such a sweetie pie)
I can never get too much of Samantha. She's fun! Always thought Carrie was a jerk for not appreciating Aidan. For someone writing about sex and relationships Carrie often seemed to miss the mark.
