I thought I'd take the time to remember John Ritter as today marks the fifth year of his passing. He will always be revered as Jack Tripper; he was a great father as Paul Hennessy; and he could make me laugh as John Hartman. A gifted, funny, dramatic actor who shone in Sling Blade and the Waltons, made us laugh on Three's Company, Hearts Afire, and 8 Simple Rules.

Thank you for posting this. In all the media coverage of the 7th anniversary of 9/11, it's easy to forget that this marks another tragic event; the death of John Ritter. :(

I wish I could have met him.

We love you and miss you, John!:(

Can't believe it has been five years. It went by so fast, but that day felt like it lasted 5 years. Here is my tribute:

His death was hard on me which is strange, I am the type that thinks if it was your time, it was your time. I'm over it now, but that doesn't mean I still don't think of him and love him. See ya later, John.

Wow, I can't believe it's been five years. It still seems so unbelievable. Everytime you see one of those tribute montages and his picture is there, it's as if he doesn't belong. The world truly lost a great talent. He may be gone burt he's certainly not forgotten. We can continue to watch his work through technology today and laugh like we did the first time when saw him. Miss ya, John.

In the end we have his work; and that should be enough. Though of course it is not.
