There is one theory that I have offered to viewers of a bunch of other pages of this site, but this is the first time that I am mentioning it on this page. This theory has to do with how slow the boards have been lately. I think that this might have something to do with the season that it is and how much of a sports orianted nation we are. As most readers know, at this stage in the game, we are in an overlap period between baseball and football season. I am wondering whether people's preoccupation with sports might have something to do with how few posts or even views there have been in the last couple of weeks. What do other fans think of this hypothosis? Maybe, after the World Sereis is behind us, things will be different.

I am very happy to see that at least one of my posts has generated a response! Like I said when I started this thread, there are many pages of this site in which it has been weeks if not months since anyone has posted anything! The purposes of this thread was to kick around some theories as to why this is. It seems that, at this point, things are going in spurts. Like for instances, since I started this thread, there have been several posts and responses on the "Caroline in the City" page. My guess would be that interest in this show has to do with the recent release of the first season on DVD. I wonder how many new threads or response to old threads there will be after the novelty of this event dies down. As for the "Will and Grace" page, there have been several new posts as a result of one of the stars auctioning off his car for the sake of charity. However, in the "Mad About You" section, I have started dozens of threads in the past couple of weeks and they all have zero response! Go figure! Before signing off, there is one more comment about one more show that I would like to mention. In the recent past, I did manage to get a response to a post that I made on the "Friends" page. For those of you who are interested, that post is titled "Smooch". This is a thread about my appreciation for female bonding. After I submit this response, I will start anothr thread on this page elaborating on my appreciation for this phonomonon in general and that post in particular. See you in a minute!
