Mr. Television 09-11-2008, 12:34 AM Which game do you think will be the most lopsided?
It could be the Giants and the Rams. I think the Rams are real bad. Maybe the Saints and the Redskins...I guess we'll find out if the Redskins just had a bad night last week.
Big C 09-11-2008, 12:39 AM Maybe the Saints and the Redskins...I guess we'll find out if the Redskins just had a bad night last week.
Not anymore. Colston's out for a while.
Mr. Television 09-11-2008, 12:43 AM Not anymore. Colston's out for a while.
yea but if the Saints blow them out without him, that will tell us alot about the Redskins. Being a Cowboy fan I've followed the Redskins for years and last week was just about the worst I ever seen them. We'll have to see if they can bounce back.
Wreckless 09-11-2008, 02:36 AM GO METS!!!!!!!, Go METS, Go Mets
Bandwagoner? . This is a football thread, I know you can't tell the difference between the 2 sports, but c'mon at least try! You can(t) do it.

mriggles 09-11-2008, 10:34 PM as far as sunday goes I am looking foward to watching the jags/bills game. I think the bills are going to be pretty darn good this year & that should be a good game especially since jags lost week 1. I am looking foward to watching it.
THen of course I hear a rumor that there is some sort of game monday night... I think I just might have to check that one out

Jets/Pats is more intriguing to me
Wreckless 09-11-2008, 11:46 PM It will be interesting with Tom Shady out. Favre vs. this young kid Cassell with no career starts lol, compared to 253 straight starts by Favre, not even total starts.
Big C 09-12-2008, 02:04 AM Which QB, RB, and WR will have the biggest numbers in week 2?
I say Brees, Adrian Peterson, and Anquan Boldin.
icecream 09-12-2008, 09:42 PM The Patsies are going to suck without Brady this year. He was the one player they couldn't afford to lose. GO COLTS

i like your upset special ;)
Big C 09-13-2008, 01:15 PM Eagles over Cowboys would not exactly be an upset of the week. It's not like the Eagles lost to the Rams.

thats his upset of the week... I understand what he is trying to say. Thats his pick for an upset
littlebelle 09-13-2008, 04:03 PM Sort of off subject but it does have to do with week 2. Any Seattle/SF fans excited for Sunday??
Wreckless 09-13-2008, 04:34 PM Yeah I agree MrIggles...
Big C 09-13-2008, 04:44 PM Any Seattle/SF fans excited for Sunday??
A better question would be if there are any 49er fans on this site.
Good luck finding one!
Wreckless 09-13-2008, 04:47 PM I bet their are. 49ers had some great teams for many years, they're bad now but no team stays great every year of their franchise.
littlebelle 09-13-2008, 06:16 PM Haha my aunt who's from the bay is always going on about how good the 49ers were... in the 80's lol.
GARFIELDKOOL 09-13-2008, 07:15 PM Based on my Pick 'ems for the week
Buffalo over Jacksonville (I am not sole on neither team)
Tennesee over Cincinatti (Vince Young can't take boos, and the Bengals are bad)
Oakland over Kansas City (That's more of a question of which is worse)
The Colts over the Vikings
The Bears over The Panthers
The Packers over the Lions
The Giants over the Rams
The Redskins over the Saints (We BETTER win this game)
The Bucks over the Falcons
The Seahawks over the 49ers
The Pats over the Jets (the Pats are still good without Brady)
The Broncos over the Chargers (San Diego has no heart)
The Cards over the Dolphins
the Texans over the Ravens
The Steelers over the Browns
The Cowboys over the Eagles(sorry, mriggles)
Big C 09-13-2008, 08:17 PM Buffalo over Jacksonville (I am not sole on neither team)
If you're not sold on either team, then why not predict a tie? :D
littlebelle 09-13-2008, 08:18 PM The Seahawks over the 49ers
Agree :)

your entitled to your opinon... Hey I am probably picking the saints this week:lol:
GARFIELDKOOL 09-13-2008, 08:34 PM If you're not sold on either team, then why not predict a tie? :D
I guess because I lives in Bills territory and I have to listen to all the Bills fans after week 1. I also know they stink on the road, so I gave them a nod just for this week.
GARFIELDKOOL 09-13-2008, 08:36 PM your entitled to your opinon... Hey I am probably picking the saints this week:lol:
I would pick Philly if they were at home.....I also know that the Eagles have had the Boys number at Texas stadium for a while though, but something has to give.
GARFIELDKOOL 09-13-2008, 08:38 PM Agree :)
My nephew loves the Seahawks.
Wreckless 09-13-2008, 09:15 PM It's all good, you can't get mad at someone for picking against the Eagles unless it's you know who . BD, Clint and everybody else are fans but I think they are reasonable about picks and who is a good team and who isn't. I'm not mad if you pick the Eagles- how can I get mad at an opinion? So it's all good- all I know is it's going to be an excellent game this Monday Night, can't deny that.
littlebelle 09-13-2008, 09:52 PM My nephew loves the Seahawks.
That's awesome. Your nephew has good taste in football teams :D .

Him and his girlfriend took a trip to Seattle over a year ago. He took a picture next to Quest Field and he was in awe...espcecially when he visited the Seahawks store in the stadium. Remember, we have to stomach the Bills up here. LOL

its going to be a dam good game... We will see how far our team has come...
Wreckless 09-13-2008, 10:56 PM ^ Definitely. It's a marker game. Depending on the score, it'll mark where we are at so far as a team this year. Can't wait!

Haha. Love it. I'm trying to get a job at the pro shop inside the stadium! and I'm sure he was upset when the Bills kicked the hawks butt! How ironic.
Big C 09-14-2008, 07:02 PM Seahawks in a dogfight with the 49ers.
God only knows how embarassing that would be!
Big C 09-14-2008, 07:30 PM Seattle STUNNED by San Francisco at home! (Sorry, littlebelle)
They are now 0-2, and with Arizona 2-0, I think their reign as kings of the West is over.
Wreckless 09-14-2008, 08:26 PM I'm still  @ that SD/DEN game and finale lol.
GARFIELDKOOL 09-14-2008, 08:40 PM I'm still  @ that SD/DEN game and finale lol.
Yeah, Jay Cutler clearly lost that ball, and the refs overruled it. The Broncos should have lost that game.
Wreckless 09-14-2008, 08:41 PM Yeah I agree. Cutler was nice though, 36/50 for some 330 odd yards, 2 TDs, 1 Interception.
mriggles 09-14-2008, 10:52 PM i agree the chargers got screwed, but I am happy denver won 2 for 2 on my upset specials

Damn, you were pretty much right on with your picks!! You went 10-2, and the Hawks game could have gone either way, so you were almost 11-1. Very impressive!! You obviously know your stuff when it comes to football.
Wreckless 09-15-2008, 07:35 AM Well the pick em isn't done yet this week lol one more game...
Brad Russ 09-15-2008, 08:25 AM Well the pick em isn't done yet this week lol one more game...
Yeah, I'm looking forward to the Eagles Cowboys game. Along with Denver vs San Diego, it's the game I've been most looking forward to. Should be a good one!
Scoobiedoo30 09-15-2008, 03:10 PM Wastoning Redskins beat the saint on Sunday, September 14, 2008
