Actress Meg Ryan felt guilty over her divorce from Dennis Quaid - even though she was only partly to blame.

Ryan reveals it wasn't until after the dissolution of her ten-year marriage in 2001 that she learned details of Quaid's alleged infidelity, adding that she blamed herself for the pair's split long after their separation.

She tells InStyle magazine: "When the woman cheats, it's the woman's fault. When the man cheats, it's the woman's fault." The When Harry Met Sally star insists she felt like "a scarlet woman having a reckless affair that destroyed my marriage" after being attacked by the media for straying from actor Quaid.

Although she remains quiet on many of the details, Ryan did admit on the TV show Good Morning America: "The truth is I had a very complicated marriage... the last few years I've confused a lot of people really. I'm not interested in opening up my marriage, I just feel like every now and then you have to fill in the gaps for people... We're not friends really, but we're friendly."

Ryan and Quaid have a 16-year-old son, Jack Henry.

I think Meg Ryan blew it. She had a long marriage with Dennis Quaid. Not perfect, but it seems they could have worked things out. She openly cheated on him with Russell Crowe. I always felt that she thought that Russell Crowe would want to spend his life with her, but he went back to marry and have a family with his true love, Danielle. Dennis married a young knockout and had more kids. Last I heard, Meg is alone.

The only fighting that went on in Dennis Quaid's house was his and his beautiful wife's twins fighting for their lives after a hospital screw up. They're crazy over each other. Too much Enquirer. As for Meg and Dennis, I think they both cheated, but Meg thought she had Crowe. She was wrong. :lol: She's the only one alone now. Dennis and Russell are happy with their knockout wives and babies. I think I read Meg adopted a kid after Dennis dumped her. Her son will be leaving home soon, then she'll REALLY be alone. She could use a hit movie, which shouldn't be a problem. Hit roles are plentiful for 50ish actresses.

Yeah, Meg Ryan during her heyday was considered "America's Sweetheart," once news of the affair came out, her movies began to bomb. I don't think that was much of a coincidence.

Actually, that's Russell Crowe and that was the man that had an affair with Meg Ryan while she was married to Quaid.

That's it. I couldn't think of his name lol, yeah Russell Crowe was in Gladiator. But yeah.

The celebrities who impress me the most are those that manage to stay married for so long, and those that you never hear stories about them having affairs and so forth.

Meg Ryan is convinced her Hollywood career is nearly over - as film options are limited for women over 40.

The Sleepless in Seattle star had long been considered America's sweetheart, but she decided to take a break from the limelight following her 2001 divorce from Dennis Quaid. And Ryan admits that at 46, she will never be able to recapture her previous fame - because there are less starring roles available to women over a certain age.

I like her and Dennis's DOA movie. That's real good. I like the picture of them on the dvd cover kissing. Meg used to be cute back in the 80's. What happened to her face? LOL. I can tell she's had some plastic surgery done. I also like her and Dennis's Innerspace movie. She did another movie with Dennis called Flesh And Blood i think. James Caan is also in it. Is that the name of the movie? I wanna see it.
