He is a Man or a Little Girl? His mom spoke out and said he is hurting from all the crticism he has receive. I'm sure his teammates will have trouble respecting him after hearing this.

Pathetic

I heard on ESPN, that Vince Young is going through a terrible depression. It's not something to mock.

His mom said it' because of the criticism and that's odd to me

I think it goes deeper than that. The Titans have already allowed him to take off as much time as needed to get his head right. It's pretty scary when you think of it.

I hope the fans support him.

Kerry Collins is a below average QB at this time. Besides, this isn't about football right now.

cry me a river, the man was a star his entire life, high school, big man on campus in college, 45 million dollar contract, the first time he hears boos & he is going to quit??? Your right solomon, absolutely pathetic...

His mom was like vince needs some love & caring right now, i was waiting for her to say & he needs some accuracy too...If this is depression thats another thing, but it doesnt sound like that to me

if it is depression thats one thing & yes its not something you mock, but I think the guy for the first time in his life is facing adversity & this is how he handles it???

If that was the case, then you can say that he is soft, but from what I am hearing, he really is mentally messed up right now.

If that is the case than no it is not funny & sad, Shawn andrews our stud o lineman missed a whole bunch of training camp for the same reason. He got a huge ovation from the crowd at the linc on sunday, led by mriggles himself.

If Vince has depression- I hope he is alright and goes through with treatment like S.A. did. You got to handle that- best of luck with that VY. If not and he's just being a crybaby about it, get over it Vince. How do you think McNabb felt when he was booed by some of our not quite finest fans at the NFL Draft in ('97 right?)...Everybody gets booed at sometime or another. Nobody is perfect.

Yup, I remember SA and wondering why he was taking so long to report to training camp- hopefully he's alright now.

Plus, Vince Young isn't that good of a QB. I remember he did pretty bad on the wonderlick test- not surprised, he looks kind of dull minded. Respect to the guy for making it this far but jesus, stop being a little wussy lol. That goes for his Mom too- standing up for your son is one thing, but making him look like a momma's boy is another.

VY might not be cut out to be an NFL QB. Fans are going to boo...that's life in the NFL. If he is suffering from depression then I hope he gets help and I wish him the best. I have a feeling it has to be something more deeper for his mother to go to the press like that. She has to know what that will do to him in the locker room.

I never thought that Young would be a good NFL quarterback. He relied too much on his leggs and not his arm. You can't do that in the NFL. QB's get hurt running around too much as is the case with him now. Michael Vick was the same way. Not accurate and got injured running around. I always thougt that Matt Lineart would be the best QB out of that class but it looks like Jay Coutler is the stud.

A Reporter on Foxsports.com, Jason whitlock, said-"I always knew Vince Young would be a failure"
