She was everyone's favorite Mousketeer and, later, the queen of the beach
party movies. But her most challenging role was in real life, as Annette
Funicello has valiantly fought MS for many years. Post your thoughts and
memories of this brave lady on this thread. We love you, Annette.

I haven't heard anything about her in a while. Does anyone know how she's been doing or what she's been up to?
Loved her in those beach movies with Frankie Avalon. She's a terrific lady!

She was pretty funny in "Back to the Beach". Loved that scene in the kitchen when she opened the cabinets and they showed all those jars of Jif peanut butter!:rotflmao:

IMO, she is a very sweet and classy lady, who in addition to entertaining others for many years, has assisted in putting a face and public awareness on MS. So, in addition to being very sweet and classy, she is courageous and altruistic too. What can I say...to know her is to (really) like her!

Yes, I have both. A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes is an excellent
book and an above-average TV-movie. I especially liked the actor who played
Walt Disney. Uncanny resemblance.
